Tiny flowers in light green are difficult to see from a distance, yet she noticed them thanks to rice — water used to wash it is kept in an old kettle shaped like an orange (or helpful Mikan-chan). Then it works as a nutritive fertilizer, spread onto plants in our garden. Not only feeding many of us, this great staple food also grows tasty fruits.
