Difficult = Damaging?

Mei-Shun has a slight pain in her right knee. While doing lighter exercise yesterday, she found out several poses in Echigo-Shishi which might cause the ache. For example, it is quite difficult for her to put both knees on the ground at once. Trying to force herself to make it, she might use a wrong, unnecessary muscle power.

Some of our public holidays have been set on Mondays since Heisei era started. Health and Sports Day is one of them, making this weekend a three consecutive holidays. However, Mei-Shun feels a bit uncomfortable in her right knee — caused by the dance rally? She decided to take a rest today, might embody the idea of today.

Diet to Dance

As dancers of all genre know well, slow movement is more difficult than quick one. Muscle power is required to keep each pose beautifully as much as possible. That means weight control is indispensable for Japanese dance — let’s stop here tonight.

Feeling Relieved

Master Mei-Shu finally saw a doctor. No problem has been found after a medical checkup, including CT scanning and colonoscopy. Glad to hear that! Master, please  eat more. Mei-Shun would eat less for you.
