Mei-Shun is so grateful to inform you kind followers that your number reached as much as 373. Quite small compared to famous sites, yet please let her show the biggest appreciation. When did she give similar comment before? As to 222 on Feb. 7th of last year, not by herself but Mikan-chan. Yes, they had wished to do it on 22nd. On the other hand, 333 could never be celebrated on Mar. 33rd!
It also sounded yesterday, 2-28 read in our language. And the last day of February leading to today, the 1st starts from Monday. 丑=ushi of 2021 is not among 3 leap years 子=ne, 辰=tatsu and 申=saru, gives the same weeks to March. Mom looks happy to have such cycles, since it is easy to make a monthly schedule. Now you are going out to dance with horseies? No problem, I’ll keep a good girl.

Meow, it is my special day comes only once a year. Mom purchased a 半纏 kimono coat, full of my friends and sushi to give me her older one. She would not put it on when practices or takes lessons of kabuki dance like today, just to relax at home. Mei-Shun cut elder Princess Cymby today. An instruction to grow this breed recommends to do so after blossom for 80 – 90 days, in order to keep bulbs healthy. Younger lady would therefore reside in her throne toward April. She is really like an angel with wings of sunlight — oh, here comes another one whose coat is made of moonlight.

Mei-Shun saw her shine in dawn purple. Yes, lunar New Year’s Day takes only one week left. Still freezing in the morning and evening, yet sunrise is getting earlier while sunset later. It is helpful for this housewife to start laundry machine just after breakfast, vacuum rooms and hang futon mats. It serves Mikan-chan as well for longer sunbathing on the sofa, shampooing carefully.
Meow, we heard it is very rare to have 節分=setsu-bun; just one day before 立春=risshun, the 1st of spring 二十四節気, not tomorrow but today. It is for the first in recent 124 years — at the end of Meiji Era, when mom’s great-grandparents were young. And it sounds like my day along with 3, 22 and 23 while with dogs 12 and 13. Not 4 and 24 when I say hiss!

It is, the first of this year. I had my hind left paw bleed lately, mom shocked and half-cry when she greeted me in early morning. It was just caused by a claw who failed to peel well, no pain left. … or ねこあつめ, Mei-Shun’s favorite game on cell, taught her this morning that we have 小正月=ko-shogatsu today. Ancient people in our country used to have 小豆粥=azuki-kayu, red-bean-added rice porridge in breakfast, while she served Shin red-bean rice handmade by mom-in-law, not recognizing such a custom. It might be an invitation from the nearest shrine.
Meow, it was mom’s first-of-the-year kabuki dance lesson today, given by Master Bando. Almost snowy, it made her put more on into layered knit above and below waist. Please be careful not to fall down stepping on such a long skirt. I’ll keep a good girl until you come back safely, purr … oh? Hi, welcome home. Did you bring something good for me in that big bag?
