They came from 陶柿園 in 神楽坂. Which one do you kind followers like? For Mei-Shun, the one accommodating two cats looking up cherry blossom. Shin prefers another featuring black patches on a white coat, plays with a black friend and a colorful ball. An elegant bone china cat, looks a bit like Mikan-chan, attracted eyes of the former who gave up bringing her home shocked at the price tag.
Shin purchased an E-bicycle. He was quite pleased with one in Nara where he enjoyed cycling with his wife. Actually when they do the same years ago, electric-powered bikes were not available at rental shops. Getting elder, they felt great gratitude to technology. Tora-chan, are you ready to help Mei-Shun on this too-big cardboard case? Sweet girl, he always leaves such items, only waits her to do with them.
Mom took care of grapefruits. Three babies have lied in one pot, losing energy day by day grown toward the limit. She therefore removed two of them, prepared new beds while augmented nutritive soil into the original one. Purr, well done. After she put off balcony slippers, my food flied onto them. Meow, they have come again. I can’t stand seeing them buzz on our balcony floor. However, mom would not like me to open net windows by front paws, shuts me out from it with heavy glasses. We have 立秋=risshu, the first of autumn 二十四節気 she told me this morning. That might be why they give no chorus in such a sultry weather — humid, over 30 degrees Celsius at 8 o’clock.

As it has become sultry, I gave up taking a nap at roof floor moving down to stairs one by one. Purr, it is very nice to feel breeze from the west in the morning. However, just a few days since rainy season was over, dark clouds and humid air continue to accompany the sunrise. Even recent 大暑=taisho, the last of summer 二十四節気 failed to be the hottest. Season is going like mom’s diet, meow.

Mikan-chan always knows how Mei-Shun feels. When the latter takes rest on a futon mat with a fever, the former immediately joins while relaxes at her best place, looking indifferent when her mom is in better condition. All the same occurs between her parents — when Shin and Mei-Shun are in a bad mood after quarrel, their fluffy daughter rushes toward them with her tail upheld, turns on her back purring.
Ms. Piano takes good care of my mom who currently in practice of “Fantasia” from Nausicaä, Princess of Windy Valley. It looks she has to avoid any interference in mind while learning the score. I feel a bit jealous when she is in such a concentration, sometimes jump over her feet on pedals. She just smiles and softly asks me to stop, since she knows I never climb up to keys to play by myself.
