I and mom turned to our 氏神 shrine to greet Gods, make a wish and draw omikuji lots after giving dad a ride by Ms. Scarlet to the nearest station. 小吉=sho-kichi, 末吉=sue-kichi: a little, the least lucky respectively? Hmm. Also a date for us to visit “Arles”, shall we try again in the evening? Or accept them as sacred voice? That sounds better, purr.

Pretty Pink

Here are new faces on a dining table for Shin, Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun. They came from a tea shop, where the wife visited to purchase 雁金 — she had already consumed this tasty, yet reasonable green leaves. Along with various drinks including coffee, lovely items are available depending on 4 seasons. Summer still seems to stay around us, that might be why a bicolor invited her.

Elegant Ears

Meow, we have 白露=hakuro, the 3rd of autumnal 二十四節気 today. It means dew on grass leaves in early mornings, while they are washed by a heavy rainfall. Dad was forced to stay in Tokyo last night, I and mom at home. However, thanks to perfect repair finished at the beginning of August, we feel all safe indoors. No drop comes from ceiling or wall. Please let me and mom highly appreciate 505th arrival of you kind followers, purr. Our goal number was 500, we are happiest, feeling tense a little to catch proper words to express our exultation. Love in Largo

Mom’s favorite scores on Ms. Piano are mine as well. “Clair de Lune” by Master Debussy, “Pavane pour une Infante Défunte” by M. Ravel, etc. She chooses some of them, practices for approx. 30 minutes several days a week. Oh, would you clean her up on the lid today? All right, crystal image of me and you will move onto the table for a while. Purr … purrr …

Meow, this is the date of a month for me and mom to visit “Arles” together. However, that pâtisserie is closed on Tuesdays while one of 2023 important days for our country. We therefore would do it tomorrow when lunar July starts. Typhoon Lan made landfall onto Kansai area, heading north. It gives a heavy rainfall in Kanto as well, waters me on slimmer Mademoiselle Vert.

Excellent Excursion

I and mom visited a hair salon nearby Tokyo Station again. We meant to meet dad who had got a holiday job, yet he canceled it. It is better for you, purr. Since worked too hard coming back from the U. S. on Monday, enough sleep at home is imperative. Look, that famous cup noodle maker would also stop a factory during Bon holiday. How large a crowd is accommodated here!

Sacred Sake

Purr, here is a wonderful gift from dad to mom. He might mean to celebrate our new outer wall in “moon mist” shade completed on Wednesday. Professor M, thank you so much for sending her a glossy image of Green Corn Moon. She would be able to enjoy another full supermoon at the end of this month, clearly through windows or safely from the roof floor.

Severe Sunshine

Meow, they announced on Saturday that 2023 rainy season seemed to have gone from Kanto area. Mercury indicates nearly 37 degrees Celsius today, mom’s temperature when she does not feel so fine. On the other hand, it is much cooler than our normal. I therefore prefer landing of stairs to the roof floor, or a south-facing window frame in dad’s study.

Thanks a lot, Mikan-chan. As she gently wrote with fluffy paws, their goal on the 2nd day of trip to 能登半島 was 輪島の朝市=morning market. Summer wind here is also harsh, yet green rice paddies look growing well. Oh, hello grandma who sells cute, handmade works. It seems to Mei-Shun that similar items are on a table, while not the same lady she met several years before.
