Meow, Tora-chan stays at a hospital from today. According to mom, she “stopped” from last week; never eat, never move, just drink water. When the former brought some of my jelly sticks downstairs, the latter said purr and licked two up. However, that became her last meal in 2021. Getting into mom’s kimono-laundry net, she was driven to a veterinarian in Tsukuba City.

Thank you so much, Ms. Manifest and Princess Maria. These ladies were kind partners in Mei-Shun’s final dance of 2021 at a horsey riding club. She actually sees herself weird in canter these days. One reason is clear: too less practice than before. In order to put on well 二足の草鞋=2 pairs of sandals for hobbies, she has to control pessimistic emotion — find good, be effective.
Mom, I did not mean to trouble you, yet could not help showing my anxiety. A big cushion full of paw stamps, your futon blanket, washroom mats, etc. just sympathetically served as marking spots to soothe myself. When you leave me physically/mentally alone, they say “do not worry, we are all yours. Why don’t you use us to catch her attention?”

Meow, mom got up and took care of me in this early morning, said good-day to dad downstairs and went to bedroom after breakfast. What’s going on? She usually stays in the living room with me sleeping on the sofa. My activity for water, restroom and patrol thus started sooner. Hi, how are you covered within futon blanket? You are allowed to take a rest of course, please just keep me fed on time.

Meow, it seems to be for Tora-chan, my colleague living downstairs. Dad kindly ordered an assorted package of jelly sticks including sardine, salmon and above flavors when I ate up pH-controlled tuna. Mom has given me 2 of the last per day, aside from energy sticks in tuna and chicken tender respectively. They wished me to find another favorite, yet I’m happy enough just with your love to me.

So lunar October starts from today. Mei-Shun meant to walk to the nearest shrine after just a whole month, greet Gods and draw omikuji lots. However, she had to give priority to room cleaning which went behind the trip to Kyoto last week: she makes Fridays full of housework to enjoy fresh weekends.
