And the wife saw quite nice numbers on a scale after dancing with Princess Maria this afternoon, ready to enjoy them. On the other hand, the husband lives on vegetables, beans and sometimes rice porridge these days.

Meow, mom finally opened the 2nd stick in a shape of my face. Dad brought home 4 of them; 2 several years before, other 2 a few years. She carefully kisses ears first, forming them into round little by little until all flat. She turns to the forehead next, letting eyes close until fade away. The last place would be muzzle leading to my own. Welcome to reach here, purr.

Today’s Treat

Meow, I’m back on mom’s phone. This is my favorite scratcher in blue, light green and me. You kind followers do not understand the last one? It is orange of course. Small bags of silvervine powder is enclosed in packages, yet she always throws them away. Well, a good girl like me never needs such items for beginners. Instead, a teaspoon of whipped cream for me, a tablespoon for her after breakfast, purr.

I and mom are really happy to say thanks a million to you kind 490 followers, purr. If you could invite 10 other friends, the very number anticipated when we started this site would be seen. It was June 6th, birthday of dad in 2014 — celebrated with her handmade chiffon cake as usual. Kabuki dance was called Japanese one, several more tyres stayed around her waist.

So this is the last day of current, flowery month on solar calendar. It was early spring deluged by hospitals and clinics for mom. Two of the former served as places of health check, including one of the latter for dental care. However, all free from any burden both in body and mind today, she walked to a nearby hair salon to enjoy a cup of tea in a tiny cherry tree. Purr … purrr …

It is great pleasure of me and mom to say thanks a million to you kind 488 followers, purr. The 1st and kindest Professor M gave us a photo the other day, celebrating a cherry tree in early blossom. His workplace University of Tsukuba accommodates various rows of trees within its wide campus, as an experiment to adorn streets of that Science City.

Meow, it is the date for mom and me to visit “Arles”. According to her, macarons at this pâtisserie are really good, or might be the best. She had kept a distance from them until last month, saying they look lovely while a bit too sweet and sticky. Such an impression has been totally eradicated, let her choose a few pieces to enjoy together with gifts from gentlemen including dad.

Amicable Aunt

Meow, mom received a phone call from her elder sister Y. I’ve not seen the latter, yet often heard of. “Her youngest daughter, your cousin M passed the entrance examination to University of Tsukuba! She would be an Ibaraki resident soon,” she told me smiling. Dad is also satisfied with this news, calls M-chan a smart girl. I cordially wish them a good friendship.

Leap Lune

Meow, solar March starts from today. According to mom’s diary, 2023 has lunar February twice. One 朔日 was on 20th of last month, while the other would be on coming 22nd or my day, purr. That might mean we have 2 other chances to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day. However, what we are eager to give dad is not chocolates but places to work safely with no cedar pollen.

So this is the last day of current month for Mei-Shun to see horseies. As Mikan-chan kindly mentioned before, she could keep healthy enough to attend all reserved lessons. Rain, snow and gale prevented her from doing it twice, yet other Mondays, one Wednesday and Thursdays made it. See you again next month, on similar schedule to 4-week February in 卯年.
