By the way, does above precious stone have other colors? … ah-ha, they are sapphires including pink one, green, blue of course, etc. It sounds much better than calling them red/blue corundum respectively.
Meow, mom has made it a rule to visit a pâtisserie in Tsukuba with me on this date every month. And a flower shop as well today, to order an arrangement for dad expecting Father’s Day on coming 19th. “The latest time was when he stayed in a hospital 15 years before”, she told me. “He always congratulated me on Mother’s Day. Mei-Shun’s beloved father departed today 13 years before. He was a bit plump at current age of his younger daughter, who saw nice numbers on a scale yesterday after dancing with Mss. Sagittarius and Last One. Caused by 鹿の子餅=kanoko-mochi, soft and airy rice cake from Toyama Prefecture she enjoyed with Shin late last night, no appetite welcomed her this morning.
We have 立夏=rikka, the 1st of summer 二十四節気 today. Also Children’s Day, blue sky nicely covers fresh green here and there. Such a sight reminds Mei-Shun of tea called 八十八夜摘み新茶 she ordered, perhaps already available at the shop. However, she finished 知覧茶 purchased at the same place this morning, opened 嬉野茶 Shin brought home from Saga recently.
Purr, she stays with me today. Dad went out early in the morning, took a business trip to Aomori. He would turn to Nagano tomorrow, saying sorry yet it is more convenient to pass us tonight. All right, there is no problem. I am in good health, so are you two. One is involved in exciting jobs outside. Another who saw nice numbers on a scale yesterday enjoys working and eating inside.

Mei-Shun visited her home dentist to see Dr. M for a monthly check today. For this patient, medical clinics are often followed by good bakery shops — she treats herself to sandwiches, baguettes and sweets even after coming back from above. By the way, “Double Ds” would take a leave from now on: she would stop going to Master Bando’s place for a while.
Bota-mochi or Ohagi handmade on vernal/autumnal equinox respectively by mother is favorite of Mei-Shun, her elder sister and beloved father. Still haunted by that novel coronavirus, she has not been able to visit home of her parents on above days for as long as 2 years. She therefore plans to cook it by herself, went out for a hair cut at a salon nearby Tokyo Station instead.
