Lunar April starts from today, meaning a new moon at night. 染井吉野 has long been expected to bloom in the same month on solar calendars, yet often does within March these days. On the other hand, iris seems to stay in their best season. 乙戸沼 Park accommodates a lot of aquatic plants including that violet beauty, gives Shin and Mei-Shun a kind of relief.
Children’s Day has come. It represents 柏餅=kashiwa-mochi and 粽=chimaki sweets for Shin and Mei-Shun, rather than streamers shaped like carps or samurai armors and helmets. We also have 立夏=rikka, the 1st of summer 二十四節気 today. It should mean a beginning of dry, comfortable season full of sunlight, yet too stormy to go outdoors this year. Above couple decided to make stay-home exemplar.
So lunar March starts from today. Mei-Shun takes it really lucky to be able to see Princess Maria, Ms. Last One and Madoka-chan for dancing together celebrating true season of peach flowers. The same month on solar calendar was abnormally warm, looks like exchanging temperature and rainfall with current one. Or are we April fools joked by 2021?
Our fiscal 2021 starts from today, meaning year end of 2020 yesterday. Mademoiselle Vert seems to know it, greeted Mei-Shun with her first kissing bud in the morning. Another pink and green have come to follow strawberry. Mei-Shun is a lover of 桜=sakura, cherry who cannot stop purchasing flavor of those flower and fruit. On the other hand, 抹茶=powdered green tea often accompanies 桜 sweets. It might mean to lead us to image of 野点=nodate, tea party held outdoors. It was inhibited last year under cherry trees, cordially wished soon.
Oh, what is going on? Mei-Shun poured green tea on a bowl of rice cracker, instead of a cup. She actually saw successful numbers on a scale yesterday, after dancing with Ms. Sagittarius and Princess Maria. Today therefore serves for party breakfast, lunch and dinner. Ms. Piano and 舞扇=fan for kabuki dance, sorry for missing you two. Practice will resume from tomorrow.

Mei-Shun’s best of spring 2021 follows below, pink muffin with covering of biscuit dough and filling of whipped cream. Many people in our country seem to love this flavor, both natural and artificial. Such products become available at supermarkets around the middle of January, continue to stay till the beginning of March which accommodates Doll’s Festival on 3rd.

Princess Cymby has recently found Mei-Shun recognized a little boy trying to reach elder sisters. Since younger one took as long as almost a month to bloom soon, it allowed her to draw a sigh of relief. Good for Your Highness, they could wait you to grow enough.
