This weekend was brilliant for Mei-Shun. Her last day of July, Saturday was spent with Princess Maria and Ms. Last One after nearly 2 months. Following August 1st, Sunday was birthday of her mother who stays in 草津 on vacation. Receiving a pleased reply to her younger daughter’s congratulations, the latter dined out with Shin and mom-in-law at a grilled-eel restaurant.
So Mei-Shun’s hair was finally cut today, postponed twice. Quiet afternoon brought a head covered with a bit slovenly long, black ones into a train, yet one of her favorite seats was occupied by a girl on the right side to Tokyo. It sees Ushiku Pond, a cup noodle-shaped chimney and a wedding site while Skytree on the left. The latter lit a few stars under evening sky when she returned to Ibaraki.
Here are Shin’s souvenirs from Niigata Prefecture. Local beer is very rare to join his list, yet such a little surprise is delightful for Mei-Shun. Actually, the wife has seen 6 weeks so far to refrain from horsey riding. Her buttocks has no bruise, slight pain around has gone thanks to warm advice from family and friends. Now what would be an answer of scale after expecting perspiration?
We have 小暑=shousho, the 5th of summer 二十四節気 today. Rainy season is expected to finish soon on solar calendar, yet seems to prolong this year as well. And 七夕=tanabata to celebrate annual rendezvous for 織姫=ori-hime represented by Vega and 彦星=hikoboshi by Altair, normally difficult to see them in the sky from the ground. However, kind slight sunlight reached Mei-Shun who loves to dry futon outdoors.
Mei-Shun would like to open windows for ventilation at least twice a day, yet it is not easy in rainy season. So are horsey riding lessons that she has no reservation this month. However, treat for Mr. Tea Time, Princess Maria, Mss. Last One and Sagittarius have been stored too much in the refrigerator. She therefore drove to the club to see them while took care of gears including Mr. Sirius, her saddle purchased by generous Shin. Hi, great to see you stay clean with no mold.
Mei-Shun found this lovely flower on a pot where Shin’s Christmas gift were arranged years before. She first thought they were twins, yet little another found twining around the tallest one. Hi, great to see you here again. Which do you represent; Shin, mom-in-law and MS, or this couple accompanied by Mikan-chan? Either would be fine, with only difference that the wife is shorter than the husband.
Thanks a million, Mr. Bean. Shin looks quite satisfied with your products. Mei-Shun feels the same as well, since it was for the first time that she purchased S size. After shopping, above couple went to a restaurant where the wife had long been interested in. Hmm, this 花咲きオムライス=omelet-topped fried rice is nice, yet stewed tongue of the husband’s choice is more excellent.
Meow, lunar month titled above starts from today. Mom walked to the nearest shrine in the morning, gave an earnest prayer to protect us all. She seems to recover from sore caused by an accident last week, visited a horsey riding club again yesterday. Coming home to get on a scale, she looked pleased so much. Purr, good of you. … kindly for the last date of May on Monday this year. Mei-Shun likes such an arrangement which juxtaposes a month with the next in a week. And it is by chance the day when both of her mother and Master Bando take inoculations for that novel coronavirus. On the other hand, months closed by Fridays give her relaxed weekends at the beginning of months follow.
Stormy weather nearly prevented Mei-Shun from visiting a hair salon nearby Tokyo Station yesterday. Since Ms. Scarlet is under repair, Shin’s car descended from beloved father of his wife helped her to get on a train. She dropped in a department store after a haircut, purchased some plates for dinner. Then an e-mail message came from him asking where she was. Yes, let’s go home together.
