Happy birthday again, Shin, for lunar June 6th today. Mikan-chan seems to share a role of weather control, offer her congratulations to daddy with 返り梅雨. He and Mei-Shun received it yesterday afternoon, a blow from the west followed by raindrops never seen for at least a whole week. A thermometer above Ms. Piano indicates below 30 degrees Celsius since then.
Lunar June starts from today, that means the best to visit the nearest shrine. Mei-Shun dropped in there after driving Shin to the station, greeted Gods and drew omikuji lots. Hmm, 末吉=sue-kichi and 小吉=sho-kichi combination looks a bit sad, please let her do once more on behalf of Mikan-chan. Yes, 大吉 has come from you, thanks a million for protecting dad and mom.
Meow, mom and I ordered a flower arrangement for dad. And it was he who received it on delivery yesterday morning. Please kindly accept our gratitude, purr. Meow, mom has made it a rule to visit a pâtisserie in Tsukuba with me on this date every month. And a flower shop as well today, to order an arrangement for dad expecting Father’s Day on coming 19th. “The latest time was when he stayed in a hospital 15 years before”, she told me. “He always congratulated me on Mother’s Day. Why don’t we do the same to him together?” Great idea, purr.

Mei-Shun drew 2 omikuji lots at the shrine. One was 凶=kyo, the worst luck while the other 吉=kichi, lucky. And oh, number 33 for the latter sounds like meow-meow to her native ears. So this is a message from you to dad and mom, Mikan-chan. They would keep it at home as the best charm. The former was tied to a twig at feet of 狛犬 N-chan. Your kind conveyance of it for purification by Gods would be highly appreciated.
Great to see you again, Princess Maria. Mei-Shun tried walking on Tuesday, dancing with you today to rebuild her weakened muscle. Oh, field soil has been replaced by gray sand friendlier to your legs. Perhaps the same for riders, felt like stepping on a beach. Shall we put on swimsuits next time? It reminds her of childhood summer vacation when she enjoyed bathing at 玄界灘.
