Ta-Dah!

Standard

Ms. Piano jabbed Mei-Shun in the head when she was warming up before dance practice. No pain, but your message is clear. Just 5 minutes communication between us these days – left you alone, making you nearly fade out of the tug cloud. Sorry, my lady. It would be your turn after November 2.

Lonely Piano

Standard

As performance date approaches, Ms. Piano tends to be left alone. She is sometimes forced to be a kimono holder after Mei-Shun comes back from lessons. No, she would like to sing, rather than being treated like a piece of furniture. Just 5 minutes must not be spared for her.

Choice of Music

Standard

Mei-Shun plays Prélude “La Goutte d’Eau”, Chopin on sunny days, while “Claire de Lune”, Debussy on rainy days. “Moonlight Sonata” by Beethoven has also been heard this week.

Once A Year

Standard

Tuning care is indispensable for pianos. Since Mei-Shun plays hers just for pleasure, once-a-year treatment is given to it. Current person in charge seems a real piano lover – a squeak in pedal bothered Mei-Shun for a long time, yet he tried hard and finally beat it. Thanks, Mr. O.

Other Names Now

Standard

Tora-chan has a boyfriend. He is a stray cat who visits our garden at night – Mei-Shun often see them on a hush-hush date when she returns from summer lessons. Their last litter was named in musical instruments during their short stay with mom.

Interested in Kimono? Or Japanese Dance? Let’s share it with Mei-Shun.

umenosakae2

Seven years have passed since she started Japanese dance. It joined her cat and piano, making long-dreamed life with music and dance come true, at the middle point (?) of her journey.
