Love in Largo

Standard

Mom’s favorite scores on Ms. Piano are mine as well. “Clair de Lune” by Master Debussy, “Pavane pour une Infante Défunte” by M. Ravel, etc. She chooses some of them, practices for approx. 30 minutes several days a week. Oh, would you clean her up on the lid today? All right, crystal image of me and you will move onto the table for a while. Purr … purrr …

Missing Moon

Standard

Mei-Shun practices “Clair de Lune” composed by Master Debussy almost every day. Her fingers recognized recently a few progress; score pages turning reduced, sometimes never. That might mean she memorized 70 – 80% of it. By the way, shape of that graceful entity in the sky is blurred to her eyes these days — an enormous net covers all windows. She therefore walks out of home every night.

Petit Partner

Standard

Mei-Shun has become aware of her right, little finger moves weirdly when she sings with Ms. Piano. It once stretches upward, then beat a key while the left never takes such an action. Well, the former serves much more than the latter to play main melodies. On a closer view, it is bent outward compared to the other. It would be her great pleasure to keep it healthy.

Musical Memory

Standard

Mei-Shun practices “Clair de Lune” composed by Master Debussy, her favorite almost every day. It is because even a day off seems to deprive her of its tune, flow and notes. Although the same occur in others, her attention is on that simple and beautiful score right now. Lunar May started from yesterday, let her sing with Ms. Piano both above and another by Master Beethoven.

Fair Feeling

Standard

Mei-Shun seems to have made it. When she sang on Ms. Piano “Clair de Lune” last night with no figure of it in the sky, success came to keep music flowing. Her favorite part was played without looking at the new score, while the page turned afterward. It was found that concentration is the most important: notes are not always connected to her memory of sound, even sometimes deter it.

Morning Moon

Standard

Mei-Shun has been practicing to sing “Clair de Lune” with Ms. Piano on a new score. She manages to play it correctly, while still has to do twice at the top of next pages. Such an act breaks a flow of music, encourages her to memorize all masses of notes. Oh, a white figure in pink and blue sky, would you agree with her? It is great to get up with you for around a week after your perfect form.

Missing Moon

Thanks a trillion, Shin. He kindly purchased a great score composed by Master Debussy for Mei-Shun. Since her older book accommodates it loosely, she chose new one among nearly 280 pieces. However, it is amazing to find it ranked C — ranging from easy A to difficult F. Why is Nocturne, Op. 9-2 composed by Master Chopin at E level? Or such an understanding symbolizes her poor technique??

Poor Player?

Standard

It was a bit cloudy this morning. Mei-Shun therefore sang with Ms. Piano scores composed by Masters Debussy and Beethoven as usual. And yes, her forecast was correct: a rainfall followed from early afternoon. However, when she said thanks a lot for giving her a nice time, a page of the former suddenly fell on keys. Dear Sir, is it your message to mean something?

Kimono Piano

Standard

Yes, Ms. Piano is one of the best, “inanimate” friends of Mei-Shun. Why “”, do you kind followers wonder? Well, she often feels something opposite within them. Such impression might resemble 付喪神=tsukumo-kami, deity grown in ancient items. However, above musical instrument lives at her home for less than 2 decades, much shorter compared to kimonos beloved Master Mei-Shu gave her.

Ms. Piano, thanks a lot for your always joining Mei-Shun to sing rainy scores when it is clear, moonlight ones with rainfalls. However, which is better looking both the sun and black clouds in the sky, one after another like today? Or neither to feature love, children and cinema? All right, she would start by “Nausicaä of Windy Valley” composed by Master J. Hisaishi.
