Lunar December starts from today, meow. I and mom got on Ms. Scarlet toward our 2nd horsey riding club in 龍ヶ崎 — 1st is Tsukuba from last month or solar December. A major reason for visiting the former is Mr. Danone Caesar, while minor to stay in a city whose name includes 2024 symbol “dragon” among 干支=eto or 12 emblematic animals of the year.

So 2024 sees the 2nd Monday on our national holiday: 成人の日=Coming of Age Day following January 1st 元旦=New Year’s Day. Mei-Shun replenished 2 茶筒=green tea cans, walked to a nearby hair salon in a down jacket of Shin who went into futon again after breakfast. He is a bit too big to step over and reach her wardrobe. When they went out for shopping together later, she put on a coat in color of orange or Mikan-chan.

Meow, this is the end of 2023 weekdays. Thanks to you kind 512 followers, I and mom really enjoyed reporting on my breed, music represented by Ms. Piano and dance for a whole year. Oh, speaking of the last term, she would attend an intensive course from next month. Kabuki dance is always in her mind, while similar motion of lower body on a horsey would be good contribution to it.

… Mei-Shun means one of three lip-balm sticks from Shin, shaped like a face of Mikan-chan. As mentioned before, she has a particular manner to kiss them. Starting from both ears, her lips must touch it as softly as possible until nothing is seen on the surface. 1st stayed beside her pillow, 2nd in a makeup bag. 3rd and youngest is waiting 2024 to replace the eldest.
Mei-Shun wrote up and brought all 年賀状=nenga-jo, New Year’s greeting cards to a post office yesterday as well, before cooking. Her signature stamp rarely appears from a drawer; used only for Mr. O, husband of beloved Master Mei-Shu and Professor M, the last student of that charming lady. By the way, are you kind followers able to find Mikan-chan in above image?
Meow, it would be the last time for mom to visit a nearby hair salon in 2023. She walked toward there in high heels as usual, read newspaper on a cup of green tea while dyeing. Seasonal music aired, a humidifier gives white steam. Shampoo, drier and curling. Now finished? Coming home soon? That’s great, purr. I and next appointment to dine out is waiting for you.

This is the last day in 2023 for me and mom to visit “Arles”, purr. A bit rainy under sky full of clouds, we got on Ms. Scarlet. 95% trees lining main streets in Tsukuba already took off colorful coats: only 5% keep still beautiful bright-to-dark red. I prefer such weather which make us sleepy, to freezing one eyes wide open. Here are delicacies we won including a macaron of my flavor or 福来みかん.

Mei-Shun does not mean a sweets shop, yet a bakery nearby a clinic her home dentist Dr. M works for. She makes it a rule to treat herself to baguettes with peanut/milk cream put between, before or after patience. It stopped raining around noon, slight sunshine came into rooms. The sooner the better — Mikan-chan, warm air and charming scent would encourage her.
Mr. Ryan, thanks a million for trotting nicely with Mei-Shun and Mikan-chan today. Oh, next job follows? All right, good luck for yourself and another mom of you. Enjoy cabbage and brown sugar from this one later. Now shall we go home? A petrol station would be better to drop in, since a bakery was our choice last week. Ms. Scarlet seems starved a bit.
