Mei-Shun’s left pinkie seems to have 90% recovered. Almost no pain any more, she tried Ms. Piano last night after dancing with Mr. White Mocha. Smallest among five, it hardly works alone while helps others a lot. Especially when she holds heavy items like Mr. Sirius — her hands lift it onto his back with all 8 larger family members balanced well by 2 babies.
Our fiscal 2023 is heading toward the end. Dad stays in Okinawa from yesterday, I and mom at home today. Momo-chan, our garden princess of bright pink is in 50% blossom. She is stormy outdoors, I am safe indoors, purr. On the other paw, rainfalls prevent us from dancing with horseies. Kimono would come to you instead, won’t it? Floor vacuuming is the first, I see.

千穐楽, the last and 15th day of sumo bouts was held on Sunday. Mei-Shun put on kimono, found herself in difficulty a bit. That may mean weight control goes well, yet also she has kept a kind of distance from this charming costume. All right, she would set a new 晴耕雨読 rule; to wrap it around waist indoors, instead of dancing with horseies outdoors in sunny days.
Mei-Shun cleaned up a table full of tiny items including dried flowers, photos and works by Kaori-san. Solar and lunar days of Christmas, New Year and family birthday have all passed, our fiscal year would start soon. It was just before leaving for Osaka on weekend, let her feel refreshed. 3 cats made of 桐のこ=kiri-no-ko, paulownia chips always stay here, never depending on 干支 of the year.
Mei-Shun visited her parents’ home after 2 months since she did with Shin during 三が日=the 1st 3 days of the New Year. This time found another family; elder sister Y who lives nearby above place, mother of M-chan. It might take 2 years for these 3 women to gather again: pandemic prevented younger daughter from regular visit. Now would you join us, dad?
Mei-Shun met her only niece M-chan last weekend. Time flied at least for the aunt, who felt really happy to see this girl — oops, a woman, since she has already celebrated her coming of age. By the way, the former found something weird walking outdoors. It first looked like an android featured in Sci-Fi films. However, the latter caught it again at a graduation exhibition by the faculty of arts.
M-chan, a 1st-year undergraduate at the University of Tsukuba, finally contacted Mei-Shun, her only aunt last night. However, quite late for the latter already in futon next to Shin. Is 22 : 33 not bedtime for students? She replied around 8 : 00 this morning, invited that girl of a good appetite to lunch at a tearoom nearby her dormitory. I and mom visited a horsey riding club today, amazing 4th time in a week. I’m always all right, yet it was not easy for her to keep healthy going out every 5 weekdays. Morning sunlight crept into our living room, stretches from south to north, as much as to shine on both Hop-chan and Lop-chan at the end of December. However, a cap of Mei-Shun would be able to cover the latter enough these days. Thanks a million, so great the Sun for letting her spare time to shade the floor. Such condition seems to affect nicely to real horseies as well.
Meow, we are in 寒中=kan-chu, the coldest season between 小寒=sho-kan, the 5th of winter 二十四節気 and 立春=risshun, the 1st of these 24 sections from spring. On the other paw, daytime becomes longer and longer after 冬至=toji, the 4th following 寒の入り or mentioned wintriness starter. Even if closed indoors, I and mom can find the warmest place to relax.
