Similar to 銀のすず or silver bells, shape of bird eggs has another type; little orbs of cake including かもめの玉子 and 雷鳥のたまご, while with chocolat-coating as well.
As Mikan-chan kindly posted, it dawns earlier day by day. Sunlight came deep into rooms in winter, helped Mei-Shun to dry futon indoors when gale tries to blow them down on the ground. However, it draws little by little toward the border between 広縁=hiro-en, wooden floor and 畳＝tatami, straw mat. Thanks a lot for sparing her time to cover 縁＝heri, edge of the latter to avoid suntan.

10 years have passed since we had that horrible mega-quake. I was alone at home, rushed into the corner behind a TV set whose tube was one of my favorite places for a nap. Mom came back around dusk, called my name in a soft voice. That gave me power to move and climb into her arms. She was also out today by chance, joined silent prayer at her horsey riding club.

And the last day of February leading to today, the 1st starts from Monday. 丑=ushi of 2021 is not among 3 leap years 子=ne, 辰=tatsu and 申=saru, gives the same weeks to March. Mom looks happy to have such cycles, since it is easy to make a monthly schedule. Now you are going out to dance with horseies? No problem, I’ll keep a good girl.

Mei-Shun saw her shine in dawn purple. Yes, lunar New Year’s Day takes only one week left. Still freezing in the morning and evening, yet sunrise is getting earlier while sunset later. It is helpful for this housewife to start laundry machine just after breakfast, vacuum rooms and hang futon mats. It serves Mikan-chan as well for longer sunbathing on the sofa, shampooing carefully.
Meow, we heard it is very rare to have 節分=setsu-bun; just one day before 立春=risshun, the 1st of spring 二十四節気, not tomorrow but today. It is for the first in recent 124 years — at the end of Meiji Era, when mom’s great-grandparents were young. And it sounds like my day along with 3, 22 and 23 while with dogs 12 and 13. Not 4 and 24 when I say hiss!

You seem like, Princess Cymby. Taking nearly a whole month, younger bud finally started to bloom. It is really amazing to see her loosen fists one after another in greenish shade. By the way, following image is ready for 蝋梅 or wintersweet flowers, isn’t it? Coming from mom’s garden, it was expected by Mei-Shun to show fragrant dresses around new year.
Princess Cymby has recently found Mei-Shun recognized a little boy trying to reach elder sisters. Since younger one took as long as almost a month to bloom soon, it allowed her to draw a sigh of relief. Good for Your Highness, they could wait you to grow enough. Wondering why she stays home today? It is too windy to drive toward home of Master Bando.
So 2020 has only 2 nights left, including a full moon tonight. It rained from early in the morning, made mom worry that she could not see it. To her great relief, drops and clouds have gone to supply slight sunlight around noon. Meow, there in the stairwell, I see a kitten staring at a bird above. Would you like my help?
