It seems 百日紅=saru-suberi, crape myrtles like weather of this summer: much rainfall and short heat waves. Mei-Shun enjoys one planted in backyard of the northern neighbor every morning, while finds some in full blossom of bright pink or white on the way to her horsey-riding club. She wishes their beauty to be kept for 100 days as mentioned in name.
And the same to you.
Mademoiselle Vert, you decided to say it at last. Mei-Shun found one of lovely green flowers closed and a little browned the other day. It happens to one after another, only 10 are still kept fresh among 28 twins this morning. It breaks her heart, yet should be accepted as what every life on earth has to face. Please take her admiration for your beauty and longevity, quite difficult for human beings.
Meow, it comes once a month. Today I would let you know my favorite places to relax. First is the northeastern corner of dad’s study. Second is indoor wooden terrace in the bedroom. Third and rare is here, behind a television where previous one was set when a terrible earthquake attacked us years before. It had a Braun tube, allowed me to relax on in winter.

Mei-Shun feels it quite gorgeous to let her hair down in the middle of summer. It is normally rolled and bound with choux-choux as soon as she wakes up in the morning. She went to a nearby hair saloon in such a style, got regular treatment before driving for a shopping. Since both places are well air-conditioned, long hair works like a jacket to cover her neck and shoulders.
Hi, little lizard, great to see you. Geckos often visit Mei-Shun indoors, while you stay outdoors. The former tend to come friendly into her sight, yet the latter rush below grasses when she greets you in the garden. Do you feel cooler there? And oh, lady beetle, it was you who sounded weird between a shutter and a window. So sorry for leaving you, who looks exhausted. Would you like some watermelon?
