It is not a real one peeled, but works as a wedge to stop this door slamming. One day Shin found it covered with white sugar-like substance. Of course it never tastes sweet, Mei-Shun replied. Since it is one of the coolest places, she sometimes uses antiperspirant there after bath. And our diligent fan, who is humming almost from dawn to midnight, spreads anything in front of itself.

Saki-Matsuri
StandardMeow, so they go around Kyoto streets under this wild sunlight today. Mom screams a little every time she sees weather forecasts these days. She makes it a rule to switch on living-room air conditioner at 10 : 00, open the shutter of dad’s study facing the east. Such a torrid summer is hard even for me who prefer natural hotness to artificially cooled room.
Japanese Culture@holiday
StandardNot only in our country, watermelons seem to be the most popular fruit in summer. Here is 金福=kin-fuku one grown specifically in Gifu Prefecture. With kin means “gold” while fuku “happiness” in Japanese, they are so loved by Hong Kong people that we must be in a hurry to order and enjoy them before exported. He is also satisfied, smiling to come to Shin and Mei-Shun.
Teddy and Turtle
StandardMeow, dad’s friend gave me this mini-cushion to relax on. Sniff, sniff, hum. Not so bad, yet he has a zipper on the back. If I curl on him as mom expects, something might be closed within. So he is yours, dad, why don’t you replace him with the towel turtle whom you hold on the sofa instead of me in summer? Mom saw the latter’s soul in 乙戸沼 the other day, finding him not a tortoise.

Literal Torture
StandardThe other day, Mei-Shun was told “d, e, b” meaning “fat” in Japanese and what’s more, TWICE by a vocabulary textbook she has used for a decade. Such a severe comment from her mentor — certainly, she felt tired in the morning from last Monday to Thursday, took a nap after breakfast or before lunch. She gained back a half of sugar back, yet still stay beyond the maximum line to be called so.
Three Years
StandardThey say 石の上にも三年 in our country, meaning a specific duration on a matter could bring an accomplishment. Well, Mei-Shun has been on horsey’s back for these 2 years and 9 months. She found that lovely Ms. I said “you can gain the 4th grade soon” one year ago on her 3-year diary. She must have made progress in riding technique, yet gallop is the highest wall.
Wary Tail
StandardMeow, it is my turn to chat on mom’s site. It stopped raining, allowed her to go out for communication with those nice-scent animals. I really love it on her legs, purr. We have 夏至 today to enjoy the longest daytime in an year. I’m not sure if we can see it because a seasonal rain front, who seems like the whimsical lady I know well, still stays active on the Pacific Ocean.

Blue Sky,
StandardWhite cotton clouds, green paddy. It is great to see you after a week. However, it was yesterday when Mei-Shun walked to the nearest shrine. They have gone immediately to bring heavy rainfall from midnight. What a pity — horseback riding club is closed on Tuesdays. It takes at least one whole sunny day for the field to dry. And her appointment with Last One and Madoka-chan is on Thursdays.
After 3Y + 10Wks
StandardThank you so much, Dr. A, family and friends of Mei-Shun for taking care of her on this matter. Actually, the ex-inpatient has not had any time to think about it until Dr. A gave her a “Yes” phone call: she was forced to study the Immigration Control and Refugee Recognition Act, related regulations and current management of this law to prepare for the seminar held on last Friday.
Once in 3Y
StandardMei-Shun needs to renew her certificate for immigration-related jobs, being in a hurry a bit this time. Hers will be expired at the end of next month, so she planned to attend an imperative seminar in April at Yokohama. However, it seems they failed to reserve a hall there, replaced it by one in Okinawa! Anyway, one of the relics of Edo Castle gave gentle words of “well done” to her.
