Shin’s shed to keep apparatuses for car maintenance has been filled up with used papers. Our autonomy group collects them in every 2 months to contribute to children welfare. However, when it rains in the morning, no truck comes to pick them up. All right, we would call private business who gives following rewards, while prefer more sophisticated technology.

Never Sleep
Standard… in the rain, right? When Mei-Shun brought a newspaper to mom-in-law this morning, she found Tora-chan sleeping on the bed. Although our garden cat, she sometimes occupies comfortable places for her “mom” including a wisteria-vine chair covered with fluffy cloth, a silk cushion and the bed of course while sheets are in the washer. Oh, please go ahead, no greeting is required.
Dear Friend
StandardOh-oh, hi. How are you? The other day when Mei-Shun tried to close a shutter, Mikan-chan was sleeping aside. She therefore went out on the balcony where something fluffy stayed at the bottom of window. Reaching her hands, she found it move onto the wall, crawling toward the edge. Little batty, say thanks to the baby cat who avoid her mom to touch and frighten you.
Japanese Culture@holiday
Standard敬老の日, Respect-for-Elderly Day is set on the 3rd Monday of September. Mei-Shun bought a bouquet for mom-in-law with one of her favorite autumn flower 吾亦紅. We can see them at sunny mountainside or highland including 草津 where her mom stays once a month. She always tells her younger daughter that they are easy to grow in the garden, yet has never heard her success.
Chocolate End
StandardThanks to a not-so-bad figure on the scale, Mei-Shun treated herself to ice cream after lunch. However, since one of her best friends Professor M abstains from both alcohol and sweets by his physician’s advice, they were unable to share joy of “Devil’s Chocolate Parfait”. By the way, this site to feature dance, cat and music has been occupied by desserts for these serial three days to conclude August!
Mom@77
StandardCongratulations! Although Mei-Shun’s mother is not interested in longevity, her daughters are so happy to see her get along toward 喜寿=kiju, the age of joy. The younger visited her place today, enjoyed chatting on lunch. “If I could live here until 米寿=beiju, 88 years old, please do not hesitate to celebrate it”, she joked. Well, eleven years will make both of your daughters elderly as well.
Thanks, But…
StandardMeow, mom said this is my summer bed, which has no roof. Sniff, sniff, hum. I prefer igloo-shape ones or, your legs are much better to sleep on. Dad therefore uses it as a footrest when he relaxes on the sofa, while mom as a holder for her balance ball. However, she would like to keep it mine for a while, removes the green gear before working out on the floor.

Lovely Messenger
StandardWhen Mei-Shun goes out by Ms. Scarlet, she makes it a rule of summer to water her in order to make the air conditioner work well. With nothing comes out of hose mouth, she checked it up to see Shin’s car take a rest on it. Lucky enough to have your key, please stand up and let her go ahead. Listen, a tiny gecko ran out from a parcel to load on you just a minute before.
Bread Only
StandardJapanese has a lot of foreign words, shared by English the most, pronounced adding vowels to all syllables and ends. For example, “lemonade” is written and read in Roman letters as “le-mo-ne-do”, often makes no sense of that soft drink for native speakers. On the other hand, the flour-based staple food is called “pan”, coming from “pain” of French with milk (mi-ru-ku), butter (ba-ta) and jam (ja-mu) on your breakfast table.
Powdered Banana
StandardIt is not a real one peeled, but works as a wedge to stop this door slamming. One day Shin found it covered with white sugar-like substance. Of course it never tastes sweet, Mei-Shun replied. Since it is one of the coolest places, she sometimes uses antiperspirant there after bath. And our diligent fan, who is humming almost from dawn to midnight, spreads anything in front of itself.
