Mei-Shun made a rare trip alone, accompanied by sweet Mikan-chan, toward above city on Saturday. Shin, already stayed there working, met them at 新大阪 Station; they planned to watch 初日=the 1st day of sumo 三月場所 together from Sunday. A Japanese-style restaurant served gorgeous dinner, where the wife ordered sake brewed in 奈良, called 風の森=windy woods.
Mei-Shun visited her parents’ home after 2 months since she did with Shin during 三が日=the 1st 3 days of the New Year. This time found another family; elder sister Y who lives nearby above place, mother of M-chan. It might take 2 years for these 3 women to gather again: pandemic prevented younger daughter from regular visit. Now would you join us, dad?
Here the day comes to admire that sweets. Mei-Shun put a box onto Shin’s desk while he was having a morning bath. And it is birthday of mom-in-law as well, on lunar calendar. A basket of flowers was ordered to deliver — yet oh, they might ring the doorbell to call herself, not the other for her daughter-in-law. The latter phoned the shop at 9 : 00 opening time, when her failure just sounded.
Meow, it is New Year’s Eve on lunar calendar today. I and mom visited a horsey riding club in Tsukuba, enjoyed 3-step dance with tasty named Ms. Candy and Mr. Crunchy. Mr. Ryan followed them in trot, kept a nice guy who made us wish to perform more. Now coming home, she got on a scale to see the best numbers after as long as 14 weeks. Good for you, purr.

… she really has. 2 works Mei-Shun purchased at Kaori-san’s exhibition in Kyoto finally arrived. The latter calls this girl “ハイイロ髪” or grey hair, while the former silver; she prefers shiny expression leading to her fluffy daughter. Her emerald eyes appear in green clothes, lets mom feel satisfied. Smaller one would stay on a dining table, the other bigger lid of Ms. Piano.
We would expect the first full moon in 2024 tonight. And Mei-Shun spent a day full of working and playing; vacuuming rooms, clothes laundering, hanging futons and roses from Shin, before getting on Ms. Scarlet accompanied by Mikan-chan to dance with Mr. White Mocha, trot on Mademoiselle Angel. She had no time to look up until finishing supper dishes, while satisfied a lot.
Mei-Shun means a gorgeous bouquet, a gift from Shin. Beloved father of the wife took good care of roses in his garden, kindly made an oil painting at the request of his younger daughter. It is hung on stairwell wall, beholding her family every day. Now she is ready to serve these graceful flowers, observing health of them to keep fresh as long as possible.
Mei-Shun makes it a rule to practice “Habanera” and ” La Cinquantaine” almost every day. Most people have heard these new comers for her, no mistake allowed on keys of Ms. Piano. By the way, other friend scores like “Clair de Lune”, “Jesu, Joy of Man’s Desiring” and so on let her feel relieved: Mss. Right and Left fingers seem to be well connected with memory. Melodies flow, harmony follows.
Mei-Shun visited a credit union to change used bills into new ones. It is normal for many of us adults to prepare them as お年玉, New Year’s allowance to children. She quite likes this custom, yet more and more financial institutions refrain from above service. By the way, nephews and a niece of Shin and his wife are all grown up; 3 of them are university students, other 2 already working.
Mei-Shun and Mikan-chan found a full moon shone by sunset pink around 16 : 30, through a window of Ms. Scarlet. Yes, they enjoyed dancing with Ms. Manifest today after a warm-up exercise with Mr. 宝花. When they looked up at home, that beauty in evening sky turned into gingko yellow. Almost in white at midnight, she kindly celebrated nice numbers on a scale of this horsey rider.
