Mei-Shun felt happy when Dr. A told her if she would take a longer “leave” prior to the next appointment. That means she has had no problem so far, yet anything would happen in your life. She therefore asked the doctor to see her in September, or in 4 months as she set today in January. Now is the time to wait a phone call. A full moon tonight could soothe her mind.

Lovely Whites
StandardHere they are, 姫空木 and lily bell in our garden. Both of them make Mei-Shun really happy — she loves white flowers. Snowy willow babies from her mother have grown in good health as well, look full of power to survive after planted on the ground. Expecting 穀雨=koku-u, the last of spring 二十四節気 tomorrow, they will rush toward sunny days of the next season.
Fluffy Sash
StandardThis is especially for you, Vanilla-san. You have a tumor under the left foreleg, sometimes bleed. Gray horseies like you tend to have such disease, they say. Since Mei-Shun has been so much worried about it, she immediately agreed to purchase another saddle belt for him. Made in Poland, sheep skin would give a soft touch, alleviating his pain.
Missing Stage
StandardMei-Shun is energized to receive a tentative program from Master 坂東=Bando on her party’s performance in April, Tokyo. The former has rarely seen other dancers in full makeup, wigs and costumes on stage so far. Another happiness comes from Prof. M who joined 菊ノ上流 a few years ago. He recently asked Mei-Shun to become his new tutor in Japanese dance taking over Master Mei-Shu’s business.
Grace Pursuit
StandardIt seems to Mei-Shun that Japanese dance and horseback riding share much. For example, her lower body needs to be very stable while upper including arms and shoulders flexible enough. She might have learned how to do so in gallop lessons with Vanilla-san, feels so happy. Another target is comfortable rein handling in trot with blackish-brown Madoka-chan and snow-white Maria.
After 2Y + 45Wks
StandardDr. A gave Mei-Shun a “Yes” phone call on Sunday. The latter feels really happy, expecting to be relieved for a while from thinking about the disease which raided her three years ago. However, she should treat herself neither to a chocolate nor to an ice cream because of a bag of sugar around her waist — another illness with chronic character might be more serious.
Looking Spring
StandardMei-Shun made a phone call to a master of 坂東流=Bando-Ryu, who has shared the stage in Tsuchiura City Hall with Kikunoe-Ryu. Actually, she planned to join the former party’s performance in Tokyo in April, yet had to give it up because of her master’s sickness. It is deeply wished last night’s super-blue-red moon would represent her recovery and contact soon.
After 2Y + 43Wks
StandardThis is once-an-year CT or computed tomographic scanning time for Mei-Shun. With an appointment at 11 : 30, she visited the hospital a bit earlier. Outpatients seem required to give signature onto a document, yet a reception staff said that she is free from such agreement. Taken image was immediately delivered to Dr. A who allowed Mei-Shun to have a month longer “moratorium” from next.
Japanese Culture@holiday
StandardShin and Mei-Shun visited the nearest shrine yesterday for 初詣=hatsu-mode, new-year greeting to Gods. The former drew an omikuji lot of 吉=kichi, lucky while the latter dai-kichi, the luckiest as following below. It might be the first time for her to see one with both the 1st number and the luckiest there. She feels so happy, takes it as the best words of protection in 2018.
あけましておめでとうございます
StandardA Happy New Year! Did you see the first sunrise of 2018? Of course Mei-Shun did, while never had thought of her goal of this year before 24 : 00 of last night. It is because they say 来年の事を言えば鬼が笑う= when you talk about matters of next year, demons would laugh at it. That means your future cannot be foreseen. She agrees with the idea, told herself not to have any pipe dream. Oh, what a beautiful 十五夜 moon!
