Hello again, lady’s tresses. Mei-Shun loves this flower who shares microorganisms with lawn. Thanks to recent humid air, Shin gives up mowing half of our garden. He never cares other plants grow there, while another half is treated by mom-in-law. And she discarded “natural arrangement” in a pot her daughter-in-law brought downstairs during repaint of our house walls.
Hello, 7th crescent. Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun feels grateful to see you again. After many rainfalls from 6th, night sky finally show this beauty yesterday. A weather forecaster called today 凱風快晴=gai-fu-kai-sei, gentle south wind and clear; one of 46 pieces of 浮世絵=Ukiyo-e paintings by Master Hokusai Katsushika. Such circumstances let us see 赤富士, red Mt. Fuji.
Mei-Shun finally contacted her important friends. 2 groups are respectively named after violet flowers by chance; 紫苑会, her high-school classmates and 桐花会, professors at the University of Tsukuba except for herself. The former consists of 4 women, the latter “father” Professor A, “elder brother” Prof. M and herself as well. If her niece M-chan would join, Prof. A have “grand” added.
Mei-Shun loves this color; eyes of Mikan-chan, Mademoiselle Vert flowers, Shin’s gift ring from Antwerp,
etc. He kindly sent his wife above image when made a business trip to Kyoto lately. And young leaves in current month, while they seem to appear a few weeks earlier these days. Oh, Momo-chan carries a lot of fruits still tiny, let us expect seedling babies.
Mei-Shun visited another horsey riding club in Ibaraki, 龍ヶ崎 to apply for lessons with lovely Mr. Danone Caesar next month. She won No. 15, the best ever from a lottery box; they fill member’s schedule according to it. Ms. Scarlet then turned to a supermarket nearby the shrine Shin and his wife often walk toward. Oh, No. 8 大吉= the luckiest omikuji appeared for him.
Here is a spotted seal living in an enormous sun lounge with a tank put below. He/she is one of a couple, kindly greeted Shin, Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun. Such a friendly mammal who swims around, jumps out of water to relax on an artificial shore. His/her attitude reminds above wife of a pygmy hippopotamus she saw at Ueno Zoological Gardens, where dad-in-law was working.
This is the day for me and mom to visit “Arles” once a month, purr. She made a phone call in advance to avoid our empty drive on Ms. Scarlet. 染井吉野 cherry blossoms along main streets in Tsukuba were almost over, while 八重桜, layered-petal breeds began to bloom. And salted, tiny flowers on macarons welcomed us at the shop. She purchased another can with my image on the lid to accommodate them.

We have lunar 桃の節句 or March 3rd today. Mei-Shun went out for shopping to prepare a small dinner, walked to the nearest shrine from a nearer-by supermarket car park. Cherry blossoms have already passed their full stages, while lovely petals were falling onto the ground. She caught one on her palm, felt happy and drew an omikuji lot. No. 8 大吉=dai-kichi, the luckiest has come!
… Mei-Shun made today, or a stroll looking for cherry blossom. Ms. Scarlet helped her to go here and there including a horsey riding club in 龍ヶ崎. They accommodate more trees than in Tsukuba, yet both have neighbors of golf playing field surrounded by the same breed. And thank you so much, Professor M who gave above shot of her friend 山櫻 in early blossom.
So it might be just once for us to see bright sun during current weekdays. Mei-Shun reserved 2 lessons at her horsey riding club in Tsukuba, followed by a 30-minute private lesson. Hello Mr. Golden Helmet, great to dance with you for the first time. Since you are so tall, she felt quite safer on short Mr. Crunchy who made the best so far. And Mr. 翼 or Wings, nice to see you again.
