We have 立冬=ritto, the 1st of winter 二十四節気 today. Cool wind blows from the north, lets Mei-Shun feel that 2024 gives clear changes between 4 seasons. On August 7th 立秋=risshu for example, air got quite softer after 16 : 00 when Mikan-chan and she enjoyed dancing with horsey guys. Long summer returning over and over in daytime, it seemed to have decided to leave around 秋分=shubun.
… it might do toward Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun who wished to see Mr. Marumorita in Tsukuba today. However, it keeps raining so much that prevents them from getting such a chance. Moreover, they took 30 minutes or 3 times longer than usual when drove Ms. Scarlet for mom-in-law, who had an appointment at a hospital. Although much better compared to urban/holiday highways, this is a traffic jam around here.

Mei-Shun took 3 classes, saw her 2nd best weight after extraordinary perspiration.
It is a bit confusing for Mei-Shun to expect a full moon tonight, instead of 仲秋の名月 yesterday. Her lunar diary explains that the latter may not always be the 15th from astronomical viewpoint, yet attractive enough in clear autumnal sky called the prettiest. Mei-Shun walked to a hair salon in high-heeled pumps instead of summer sandals. She recognized both insoles of the latter are torn when put them on. It might be a message from autumn already reached us, even in such sweltering air. Since her mother comes back from 草津 today, she is a bit worried about condition of an octogenarian. Yet oh, a weather forecast says that it would be cooler from Mikan-chan’s birthday.
Mei-Shun used no air conditioner yesterday: only fans worked even after a bath. Such fine condition and sunset a few minutes after 18 : 00 let her feel that autumn has truly come. Looking back weeks recently passed, we scarcely saw any light in the sky caused by typhoons. On the contrary, sunny today forced her to grab a remote before 10 : 00. Could we see a 3rd crescent in the evening?
