前祭=former 祇園祭 holds 山鉾巡行 today. Shin left Haneda Airport on 9 : 40, Mei-Shun is checking his flight to Frankfurt via PC at home. They would like to visit Kyoto — especially 後祭=latter celebration to see 大船鉾. However, Wednesday means 宵々々山 or one more “々” on weekend … oh? Amazing online shopping is available for its 粽? That is fine, she would contact them.
Mei-Shun washed a yukata to put on after bath. It came from 浜松 she visited with Shin decades before. They stayed at a hotel featuring music, since above city accommodates a famous maker of musical instruments including piano of course. Full of scores and notes, it served well until getting 半襟 collar worn out. Mom-in-law kindly sewed it up using a 手拭 towel.
Today is the deadline to order 水無月=minazuki from たねや this year. Well, Shin and Mei-Shun have consumed just 1 of 3 boxes he purchased at 能登里山 Airport last week. They visited that city twice, love halcyon atmosphere there and beautiful sight fairly balanced between the sea and rice paddy. With their petite contribution, rapid recovery is cordially wished.
Thanks a million, Shin. He returned home on weekend to give Mei-Shun a box of caramels made in Switzerland — his latest destination for business was Vietnam. The latter seems to love durian; that thorny fruit as big as watermelon, whose tastiness is shared by above husband. However, the wife hesitates even to open a package of local sweets containing it.
Oh, a beautiful moon floats above Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun, who enjoyed horsey riding today as well. Shin stays in Vietnam from Wednesday, let his wife play outdoors until dark. Mademoiselle Angel kindly joined for trot, Mr. Loki and Mr. Mickey Love Song danced several steps respectively. The latter guys did only a few yesterday: just a little going forward.
Shin, Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun visited 雨引観音 by Ms. Moon on weekend: the wife somehow felt like seeing above flower outside of their own garden. She seems to have been there years before, driving herself with mom-in-law — yet is it the same place? Enormous main building, full of cute babies held by young mothers in kimono, dogs, ducks and peacocks.
Mei-Shun loves this color; eyes of Mikan-chan, Mademoiselle Vert flowers, Shin’s gift ring from Antwerp,
etc. He kindly sent his wife above image when made a business trip to Kyoto lately. And young leaves in current month, while they seem to appear a few weeks earlier these days. Oh, Momo-chan carries a lot of fruits still tiny, let us expect seedling babies.
Here is a spotted seal living in an enormous sun lounge with a tank put below. He/she is one of a couple, kindly greeted Shin, Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun. Such a friendly mammal who swims around, jumps out of water to relax on an artificial shore. His/her attitude reminds above wife of a pygmy hippopotamus she saw at Ueno Zoological Gardens, where dad-in-law was working.
Shin, Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun visited Aquamarine Fukushima on weekend. There are idols living in the sea for the wife; one is colorful and lovely balls shown above, while the other thin mirrors. The latter has no scale, said too delicate to keep in a fish tank. It is therefore thanks to excellent expertise accumulated by that institution. By the way, other icons were added to her list following soon.
