Nice to report from me on our recent trip again, purr. Here we brought home; a pair of 砥部焼 pottery mugs, 2 bottles of marmalade awarded 2024 best. Dad found a museum featuring the former, asked me and mom if we would like to enter (would love to, we replied). Amazing number of products are displayed there, like the one in 益子 of Tochigi Prefecture.

They live at a hair salon Mei-Shun always walked to in high heels. Her beautician said that one in a cuboid pot stayed in a “hospital” for a while: a couple whose wife is a client here dealt with it. Our population includes some succulent plant lovers, while this lady might prefer container gardening or bonsai. The other looks like growing on a tiny stump, giving a unique atmosphere.
Mom ordered a season delicacy the other day, purr. Since moon viewing is quite nice in my birth month, sweets shops are full of those images. She purchased 2 boxes; one for us, the other for Professor M. Although birthday of the latter gentleman is the end of our fiscal year, amazing 5 and a half months have already passed. I wish him to accept her cordial respect.

Shin visited 一ノ関 last week, brought home a lovely little pear made of 久慈琥珀. On the other hand, one of his clients living in Tottori Prefecture kindly sent a box of those real fruits. Mei-Shun loves both of them; the former is for the wife to put on, the latter 新甘泉 above couple enjoy in each mouth. The husband never forgets souvenirs, with sweets on the top of his list.
Typhoon Ampil is jogging toward north along eastern coast of Kanto area. Weather forecasts warn us of severe storm, let Mikan-chan, Mei-Shun and mom-in-law shut themselves up at home. On the contrary, Shin went out by Ms. Moon for Tokyo office. Please do not worry about him, the kindest 518 followers. He is one of the best drivers in our country. By the way, Friday end of obon holidays would make Kyoto crowded with 五山送り火 sightseers.

Mei-Shun finally contacted her important friends. 2 groups are respectively named after violet flowers by chance; 紫苑会, her high-school classmates and 桐花会, professors at the University of Tsukuba except for herself. The former consists of 4 women, the latter “father” Professor A, “elder brother” Prof. M and herself as well. If her niece M-chan would join, Prof. A have “grand” added.
Thanks a million, Shin. He kindly gave Mei-Shun a box of compote on Mother’s Day. The wife always wonders if she deserves it, while full of gratitude to have an excellent family including mom-in-law. She received a pot of variegated carnation from her son via daughter-in-law. And the latter became a messenger again between a mother and a son, with a bowl of red-bean rice.
This is the day for me and mom to visit “Arles” once a month, purr. She made a phone call in advance to avoid our empty drive on Ms. Scarlet. 染井吉野 cherry blossoms along main streets in Tsukuba were almost over, while 八重桜, layered-petal breeds began to bloom. And salted, tiny flowers on macarons welcomed us at the shop. She purchased another can with my image on the lid to accommodate them.
