Meow May

Purr, solar one starts from today. I and mom were scheduled to go out for horsey riding, yet it rains from early morning. We therefore canceled lessons with Mr. White Mocha this afternoon, changed others tomorrow with Mr. Loki. By the way, our 晴耕雨読 rule makes us read, study, cook, clean, etc. at home. Now shall we sing moonlight scores on Ms. Piano, expecting 雨月 tonight?

Shining Silver

Meow, mom seems to find her new favorites at that blue site we visited last weekend. “Baby, you are the prettiest in the world”, she always says to me. Purr, I know you mean to add “on this earth” presently full of young green. Pink flowers represented by cherry were followed by white ones, passing batons on purple. Shall we go to 乙戸沼 Park to see incipient irises?

Fluffy and Full

We would expect a round moon tonight, yet a rainfall started from early morning. Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun hope it will stop within today to let them see that celestial beauty. On the other paw, they wish horsey riding field drier than rice paddy tomorrow. Now it is time for her mom to sing those 2 scores with Ms. Piano — half of people passing by still use umbrellas.

When titled mother and daughter visit “Arles“, they always go through different routes; 2/3 in Tsukuba toward the shop, the same in Tsuchiura from there home. The latter let them pass by a crossroad where Mr. O, husband of beloved Master Mei-Shu, takes just 3 minutes on foot to his place. He would still keep the lesson room clean with a 木札, wooden nameplate of that gentle lady hung above 床の間 alcove.

Shin and Mei-Shun walked to the nearest shrine on weekend, enjoyed an enormous carpet made of cherry petals. On the way to there, they found wild flowers in various colors including pink, blue, violet, yellow and one in Mikan-chan’s name of course. Elder 狛犬 helped the wife to greet Gods before drawing an omikuji lot. She had 小吉, a little lucky while the husband better 吉.

Sweet Sakura

This is the day for me and mom to visit “Arles” once a month, purr. She made a phone call in advance to avoid our empty drive on Ms. Scarlet. 染井吉野 cherry blossoms along main streets in Tsukuba were almost over, while 八重桜, layered-petal breeds began to bloom. And salted, tiny flowers on macarons welcomed us at the shop. She purchased another can with my image on the lid to accommodate them.

Breakfast Biggest

I and mom danced with Mrs. White Mocha and Crunchy today, purr. We plan to upgrade lessons from current basic to advanced ones, held in wider field. On the other paw, after going home full of delight, she got on a scale to find shocking numbers: they are just at maximum she allows to herself. She therefore has to review her methods including 8 hours, candy first, title above, etc.

Cloudy Clear

… it is today, our fiscal 2024 starts from Monday. Dad brought home above on weekend, let mom feel happy to see it after decades perhaps: they visited Okinawa for the first time together just after marriage. She loves 泡盛 distilled sake there, while took this tofu product as a bit weird. Now grown up enough, it is taken great accompanied by 鵜戸詣 from 宮崎 via kind Professor M.

Windy Weekday

Our fiscal 2023 is heading toward the end. Dad stays in Okinawa from yesterday, I and mom at home today. Momo-chan, our garden princess of bright pink is in 50% blossom. She is stormy outdoors, I am safe indoors, purr. On the other paw, rainfalls prevent us from dancing with horseies. Kimono would come to you instead, won’t it? Floor vacuuming is the first, I see.

Joy of Osaka: 3

Purr, it was the best for me, dad and mom to return together from sumo watching. His hay disease got better taking naps on a souvenir 座布団 cushion layered on another, while her style in 羽織 kimono coat became established. She also enjoyed shopping, eating all day long and waving towels on which names of her favorite rikishi printed. They are doing well in a stormy spring.
