Ms. Piano Returned

Standard

It’s found to be Gymnopédie by Erik Satie! For an easy sleep at the hospital, Mei-Shun picked up many pieces of heeling music. And this melody came up following others. She immediately asked Shin to order the music score. Simple enough to play, but comfortable to your ears.

Hospital Sakura

Mei-Shun has been forced to return here, yet only to receive medicine. It seems that a nurse in charge of her on Monday made a mistake. Well, no problem – for such a beautiful cherry blossom.

Don’t you think she is beautiful? Momo-chan, our garden princess, has descended from Mei-Shun’s grandmother on her mother’s side. She looks like dancing in full bloom. Her bright pink color is admired by everyone. Yes, for just a week in the middle of spring.

A Happy Guest

Standard

It is a great pleasure for a patient to have guests. Mei-Shun’s family met her almost every day, yet a real guest kindly gave a visit today. Full of sweet gifts including a bouquet of spring flowers, a bottle of perfume and hand-made accessories, Professor S appeared smiling at the front door of the hospital. Time flied for them chatting on a cup of tea.

Lunch Outside

Standard

They serve nice, healthy meals here, giving Mei-Shun a chance to diet. However, her primary doctor Ms. A recommends to go out sometimes for mental health. Mei-Shun therefore asked her mom-in-law to join a sushi lunch. It was so good, let Mei-Shun feel like returning to normal.

Hello, this is Mei-Shun, staying still in a hospital. Her operation went well, no pain remains now. Tissue checks resulted fine. Thank you so much for your kind support.

Today is called “White Day” here. It has been set as a counterpart of St. Valentine’s Day – guys must offer gifts of three times the price of chocolates he received one month before, they say!

Cats sound “nyah” to Japanese ears instead of “meow”. And 2, pronounced “ni” in Japanese makes February 22nd the Cat’s Day catching their calling three times. Mei-Shun plans to send a small gift to one of her cat-fancier friends.

Mei-Shun visited Mt. Tsukuba Shrine with her mom-in-law. Sunshine, soft wind, pink and white ume plum blossoms welcomed us. And many frog stones as well, symbolic figures for this mountain.

Hello Again

Standard

Mei-Shun found mimosa bouquets at a flower shop in Ueno Station. We had grown two mimosa trees before 2013, yet neither of them survived in freezing Ibaraki wind, called Tsukuba-oroshi … Hi, friend. Would you join our family for a while?
