Shin, Mei-Shun and Mikan-chan got up at 4 : 00 this morning. Night stars were brilliant in dark sky, waiting for sunrise a few minutes before 6 : 00 to fade out. The husband had to arrive at Haneda Airport to board the 1st plane for Hiroshima. On the other hand, the wife and her fluffy daughter at usual horsey riding club in the afternoon. It is quite hotter than yesterday, isn’t it?
Mei-Shun found outer wall of home changed color: from biscuit to meringue when she came back from her horsey riding club last evening. They explained that it is the 1st stage followed by the 2nd today. She and Shin hope the 3rd, final would safely be shown soon. By the way, nice numbers on a scale let her enjoy 細巻き, thin rice sticks rolled with 海苔=nori sea vegetable for supper.
Oh, what a busy day for Shin and Mei-Shun it was. The husband returned home around midnight, left this morning before 7 : 00 to the nearest station driven by the wife. She started a laundry machine, read newspaper, hung futon mats, vacuumed all over rooms including stairs and even under a sofa. After a cup of tea, she went out for a bank, postal office and shopping. Now he turns to a business trip.
It has become rare for Mei-Shun, just sometimes with Princess Maria. Actually, she stopped reserving canter lessons from last month, caused by a kind of slump. Perhaps knowing reasons, she asked a chief instructor Mr. S to give her effective private lessons instead of ones in a group. It would start after 11th, December when she finish a Spanish examination.
Mei-Shun saw so-so numbers today on a scale after dancing with Princess Maria and Ms. Madoka. Yes, the former sometimes canters in beginner classes. And oh, above rider has got awful one bag of sugar around waist, indulged herself in just three-night 冨貴寄=fuki-yose. She found the fact last week actually, when she caught a cold. Perspiration seems inevitable to be all right both in mind and body.
Lunar September starts from today, meaning 朔 at night. Mei-Shun dropped in the nearest shrine on the way to home after dancing with Princess Maria. She drew two omikuji lots as usual, one for Shin and the other for herself. Here is the result; 小吉 meaning a little lucky, while 末吉 the least. Since the latter says travel would not be good, she bound it beside 狛犬 N-chan wishing his/her protection.
萩=hagi, Japanese bush clover in our garden began to bloom. Yes, it represents current season getting cooler day bay day. While Mei-Shun stays outdoors with horseies, wind gives gentler touch on her cheeks after 15 : 00 even under sunlight. And we have 重陽の節句, chrysanthemum festival today before 仲秋の名月, the best full moon tomorrow. Now is night tea time for her who saw nice numbers on a scale again.
晴耕雨読 means “sunlight to work outdoors, rainfall to read indoors”. However, this torrid week gave Mei-Shun an antonym — she studied at home to avoid sunburn and other troubles, went shopping after showers including one by hand. Such an occasion teaches how much every horsey works to get her in shape. 松の緑 also helps, while never depending on weather.
… and this is the last day of solar May, yet rather rainy from early morning. On sunny weekend, Shin and Mei-Shun visited 乙戸沼 Park to walk together around the pond after months. 八重桜 or layer-petal cherry trees hold little, lovely fruits among green leaves. Hi, fountains, great to see you three open toward blue sky. Now they are heading to an iris garden perhaps in blossom.
Mei-Shun visited the nearest shrine this morning. Young rice paddies welcomed her who led the way weeks before when both 山櫻 and 染井吉野 cherry blossoms flourished in the garden. A pheasant guy was claiming his territory over watered green, yet never seen even in silhouette. Clear sunlight sometimes reached her hair with no cap. A bit itchy on thighs.
