They chose this name for the lovely Amazonian manatee at 熱川バナナワニ園. Meaning in Portuguese “together”, they express thankfulness to him staying with us so far and hereafter. It reminds Mei-Shun of a dog kept by the landlady of the residence Shin and she lived just after marriage. From 4th floor balcony, she often called him Jun-jun who never looked up to find her.

Her Strategy
StandardTora-chan has several safe places to relax on, except for her outdoor bed beside mom-in-law’s living room. It might be one of them, a compressor unit of air-conditioner at next-door the Ys. She seems to choose the best place according to circumstances, not always follow mom-in-law who cannot but welcome her little friend anytime when she rushes into our front door.

StandardHe is a thoroughbred guy in shining white coat. His tail is so beautiful — long, blonde and straight, cut neatly at the bottom. Gentle-touch and friendly in mind, he has a lot of fans including Mei-Shun of course. However, she had to postpone reservation of his time for a lesson today, since Mr. Shin will come back from the U. S. She is too busy to go out, with his birthday party planned at night.
Never Compare
StandardDumplings rather than flowers? Not for Mei-Shun and Professor S. They met at 飯田橋 Station at noon, strolled toward an Italian restaurant to enjoy good salads, pizzas and pastas. After lunch, they planned to walk down 神楽坂 slope to reach 小石川後楽園 yet shared an taxi under severe sunlight. Pretty irises and hydrangeas were at the beginning of blossom. This nicely cared garden made them almost forget time.

StandardHere she is. Don’t you kind followers think her eyes are pretty? Not only her looks but her heart is the sweetest. Mei-Shun is so much fond of this lady, would like Madoka-chan to learn a lot from her. Now, she was too busy today, Rubinstein, a friendly guy in a unique mask patterned like a cow, played Mei-Shun’s partner. Thanks a million for helping her gently in gallop lessons.

StandardHere is twin Kasane-chan, layered babies. They’ve come onto Ms. Piano recently, met with Mei-Shun at one of her favorite pâtisseries Arles. Nobody know if they are either bear or rabbit, even pug or piggy, yet anyway cute creatures have no problem to join her family. Sweet elephants, please get along with these pink friends. Would their ears stand straight when one stop mounting on another?
Sleepy Spring
StandardPurr, nap on mom’s blanket (more precisely, between her legs) is one of my favorite. It’s too windy today to hang futon mats outdoors, she murmured in the morning. Do you have any problem? I’m free to slide into or relax on them anytime. Oh, let me introduce my new friend Mammal-kun. He came our home on Sunday after dad and mom left me alone half a day. Sniff-sniff, how do you do?

StandardShin and Mei-Shun visited 熱川 yesterday to see the only Amazonian manatee kept in our country. Net news said he is around 50 years old, came to a botanical garden there in 1969 yet has no name so far. Oh, we cannot call such a cute creature?
