We had 春一番=haru ichiban, the first southern wind blows between 立春 and 春分 on Saturday. Yes, Mei-Shun knew that. It gave warmer touch on her cheeks than at 乙戸沼, let her hang futon mats outdoors and dried horsey-riding field. She therefore changed stormy today’s schedule into yesterday, enjoyed communication with Mr. Tea Time and Princess Maria.
Ms. Sagittarius, great to see you at home. It is very rare for this chestnut-brown girl, so popular that often works up to maximum hours a day. And it hardly happens to Mei-Shun either — she had a sudden headache, canceled a class to take a rest. Shall we therefore share relaxed time on a cup of tea, while brown sugar and green vegetable especially for you?
Nothing has changed at 大志満 in 高輪, Tokyo. Shin and Mei-Shun visited there after several months, should have said a happy new year. They were guided into 椿=Camellia Room. Of course you are here; blue birdy, we missed you hoping you did us as well. Green vegetable, sashimi, 治部椀, grilled salmon, tempura and rice. Oh, how cute these origami cranes are to hold dessert spoons!
It is you, Mr. Tea Time. Actually, it should have been Maria-chan, yet she has her legs hurt. Have you seen that snow-white elder sister? She is really a sweet girl, keeps silent while we make her put on riding equipment. However, belt tightening is her only point to be furious. On the contrary, you are a perfect boy who is patient enough to stay quiet during all of our dressing.
Ms. I and Mr. Vanilla Arc, thank you so much for helping Mei-Shun to win the important certificate of riding technique. Princess Maria, here is a bit belated (sorry) Christmas gift for you, a new forehead band. Mr. Tea Time, it was one of her best 2018 events to see you. And lovely Ms. Last One, you are really the last horsey of this year who teaches her good communication with you.
They call today so, reading 11=i-i, meaning “good” and 22=fu-fu, “a married couple” respectively in Japanese. Well, Kaori-san’s first exhibition started from this date 4 years before. What a nice timing, symbolizing good communication with her husband Maru-san. Regarding Shin and Mei-Shun, the husband asked the wife to play piano before leaving for a business trip to the U.S.
… in the rain, right? When Mei-Shun brought a newspaper to mom-in-law this morning, she found Tora-chan sleeping on the bed. Although our garden cat, she sometimes occupies comfortable places for her “mom” including a wisteria-vine chair covered with fluffy cloth, a silk cushion and the bed of course while sheets are in the washer. Oh, please go ahead, no greeting is required.
Here is Mei-Shun’s list of partners to dance with; Mr. Vanilla Arc to gallop, Ms. Battle Madoka to trot, Ms. Last One for both and Ms. Maria to walk with a bit of trot. The last snow-white lady looks happy to go to our newly-built field in the woods, where we can enjoy playing “Gymkhana” not by car but on horsey. Her petite body is suitable to make a narrow turn around natural trees.
2018 summer has let a lot of typhoons make landfall on the Japanese archipelago. Although we have 処暑=shosho, the 2nd of autumn 二十四節気 today, both Soulik and Cimaron hit western part of our country with heat wave follows. Partly thanks to the bigger latter, Mei-Shun enjoyed riding on Maria-chan’s back in cool shadow of woods where our club constructed another lesson field.
Mei-Shun met her high-school classmates Yuko-san and Kaori-san at 維新號 in Ginza. She was so happy to see them after around 2 years when the latter kindly came all the way from Tokyo to Tsuchiura, with her husband to see 汐汲. They looked satisfied with lunch of 7 courses, making the organizer feel relieved who lists this Chinese restaurant on the top.
