Mei-Shun enjoys 七草粥 celebrating lunar January 7th tonight. It is quite easy to cook thanks to a freeze-dried package of 7 wild vegetables — she just asked her diligent rice cooker to make porridge, added above ingredient in a serving bowl. 月餅= moon cake from Chinatown in Yokohama would accompany her supper alone, while Shin turned to Nagoya leaving this souvenir.
Above is a friend of my breed dad saw in Madeira Island. I and mom do not know what his business is, while imagine it might be related to a wine produced there. He ordered 2 bottles of it for mom the other day, in a good combination with her birthday cake Galette des Roi. Hmm, he/she looks like that pie whose fève was finally found in the last piece this year.

This is the day for me and mom to visit “Arles”. However, we already did it with dad driving Ms. Scarlet on Monday, picked up a Galette des Rois as mom’s birthday cake. We enjoy it, yet nobody has won a fève so far. That is why I wear a golden crown as a temporary queen who reign our family. On the other paw of mine, he departs for Portugal from tonight.

Mei-Shun saw her home ophthalmologist Dr. N, after Professors A and M on lunch. Although looked available anytime so far, quite crowded at a cafe today. Now is test time if she has glaucoma or not — her left eye caught a light within a machine somehow doubled or tripled, compared to right with single and clear image. When she took off contact lenses, 2 pieces were found layered on the former.
Thanks a million, Professor M. He kindly sent Mei-Shun images of the last, round celestial beauty in 2024, called Cold Moon. She looked brilliant yesterday evening, when the latter got on Ms. Scarlet to pick Shin up at the nearest station. He came back from Kyoto, where a lot of good sweet shops are accommodated; many of them changed into ones specialized in rice cake this month.
Mei-Shun and M-chan dined at a Hawaiian restaurant, ordered fried chicken plates first. They call it mochiko or rice-cake powder coated; crispy surface, juicy meat. Fairly delicious, yet 4 pieces might be a bit too much. Now dessert has been served, the same choice. The former had just one pancake, the latter young woman 2. You have white and silky hands, honey, like these mountains of whipped cream.
… at a cafe Mei-Shun enjoyed on weekend again. Or precisely, just a few steps from there with Professor M: that Chinese restaurant seems to serve for smaller cars than Ms. Scarlet. Only a piece of paper could slip out of her doors. She therefore exchanged car parks toward above place. After baked sandwiches, her dessert came to the table followed by his green tea ice cream.
I, dad and mom visited there on weekend. It is our 2nd stay, while the 1st a decade before. Our hotel is located at 道後温泉, quite famous for a gorgeous onsen hot spring featured in an amine movie you kind 521 followers might know. On the other paw of mine, this prefecture is the biggest citrus fruits grower in our country. That is why a marmalade event has been held here since 2019.

One of Shin’s souvenirs from Malaysia still stored in his wife Mei-Shun’s cupboard; white coffee or 白珈琲 sticks, while the other ghee cookies already consumed. Both of them are quite superb, yet the former is packed within so big a bag that takes much longer than the latter in normal size. And these sticks themselves have astounding 3 servings respectively.
