Lovely Purrer

Mikan-chan finally recovered from “mom sick”. When Mei-Shun returned home after 4 weeks, she shouted in joy (and warning?) from morning till night, getting a husky voice. She implored mom to stay sitting on the sofa holding her. Her intention to sleep on mom’s blanket was so assiduous that we let her spend three nights in our bedroom. Now, learning that mom would always come back to her, she has returned to peaceful nap alone.

Hospital Sakura

Mei-Shun has been forced to return here, yet only to receive medicine. It seems that a nurse in charge of her on Monday made a mistake. Well, no problem – for such a beautiful cherry blossom.

Sweet Home

And this day has come as well. Mei-Shun already brought home clothes, PC and gift sweets, just expecting “OK, you are allowed to leave” comment from Dr. A. Thank you so much! The same from Mikan-chan.

A Happy Guest

Standard

It is a great pleasure for a patient to have guests. Mei-Shun’s family met her almost every day, yet a real guest kindly gave a visit today. Full of sweet gifts including a bouquet of spring flowers, a bottle of perfume and hand-made accessories, Professor S appeared smiling at the front door of the hospital. Time flied for them chatting on a cup of tea.

Oh My Girl

So this day has come – Mei-Shun gained a permission to go home. Still hospitalized, she started a life of a visiting patient who comes to the hospital twice a day. Mikan-chan has jumped back to her arms. She never stops staring at Mei-Shun all day long, calling her even while sleeping. Oh, sweet girl, thanks a million to remember your mom.

St. Valentine’s Day

Standard

… is actually a chocolate day for Japanese people. Mei-Shun has prepared boxes of chocolates for her lover, family members, close friends, colleagues, etc. When she stayed in UK, couples exchanged funny cards with each other on February 14th, looked very interesting. Which custom would you prefer?

Hello Again

Standard

Mei-Shun found mimosa bouquets at a flower shop in Ueno Station. We had grown two mimosa trees before 2013, yet neither of them survived in freezing Ibaraki wind, called Tsukuba-oroshi … Hi, friend. Would you join our family for a while?

Today is節分; setsu-bun, the last day of winter. We throw roasted soybeans toward outdoors calling “鬼は外; oni-wa-soto” while into the room saying “福は内; fuku-wa-uchi”. This ceremony has been held at home to invite health and happiness, hopefully with coming warm spring. 立春; risshun, the first day of spring comes tomorrow.
