Thank you so much, Dr. A. Mei-Shun asked her to introduce a good ophthalmologist the other day. “All right, she is mother of a classmate of my son, very soft-touch”, the former lady said. It is Dr. N who manages a clinic in Tsukuba, kindly took care of above patient yesterday. She enjoyed driving toward there along many sakura trees in almost full blossom, including 染井吉野 and 大島桜 breeds.
Thanks a lot, Princess Maria. Mei-Shun did not feel very good in the morning, took medicine and a rest for a while. Getting better, she got on Ms. Scarlet. Dancing outdoors with a lovely horsey works best, let her recover in just a few hours. And sweet Mikan-chan, coming home to find your peaceful smile is always exultation of mom. Oh-oh, Dr. A kindly left her phone a “Yes” message.
Mei-Shun visited a clinic just next to her home dentist. She is insured by Shin for annual health check, recommended to people of 40 years or older. So this is her month of seeing various doctors; dentist of course, dermatologist, physician, Dr. A and veterinarian. They prefer her left arm to take blood sample, used the same place to result in a tiny bruise with a slight pain.
Mei-Shun finally saw Dr. A with CT-image taking just before noon today. It should have been at the end of January — when they always said “a happy new year” while “please have a nice end of the year” in July. The former would have been fine; especially 2022 who had lunar New Year’s Day on February 1st, yet the latter a bit weird; changed from midsummer to autumn hereafter. It seems still too soon even for demons to laugh at.
Cedar pollen has already begun to make Shin’s nose run from around new year. He prefers ventilation and exercise rather than shutting doors and windows to avoid the source. Mei-Shun was too busy today to walk to the nearest shrine, asked him to draw 2 omikuji lots. Oh, no, one she chose shows 凶=kyo, the worst luck while the other 末吉=sue-kichi, the least lucky.
This combination resumes from today. Mei-Shun got in Ms. Scarlet for Master Bando’s place, in normal clothes. Since a time was available, she steered to the left into an automatic car washer. Wow, what REX means here? 2 dinosaurs drawn on the machine approached, passed by and went away from her with water, shampoo and wind. Thanks a lot, tidy beasts.
Mei-Shun planned to see Dr. A for half-an-year examination today. However, several matters including Mikan-chan’s condition forced her human mom to change date of above appointment. It became March 15th, just 7 weeks ahead when she wishes current variant of that novel coronavirus to be soothed. Hi darling, what a good girl whose breakfast took a jelly stick around teatime!
Lesson by Master Bando would resume from next Tuesday. It therefore failed today to form double Ds, Mei-Shun just saw Dr. M for regular teeth check. The former got dental floss fragment or some food into space between molars on lower left jaw last month, made an immediate phone call asking for help from the latter. That finally proved needless: it was nicely removed by herself on New Year’s Day.
Meow, Tora-chan stays at a hospital from today. According to mom, she “stopped” from last week; never eat, never move, just drink water. When the former brought some of my jelly sticks downstairs, the latter said purr and licked two up. However, that became her last meal in 2021. Getting into mom’s kimono-laundry net, she was driven to a veterinarian in Tsukuba City.

Oh-oh, Mei-Shun’s English textbook called her “d.e.b.” again. She came home after dancing with Princess Maria around teatime. A scale informed her on a half of sugar bag added to the number shown last week. In fact, she knows the reason for it; party with alcohol and dessert on Friday night, instead of morning alone. Slight cold followed toward Monday, forced her to stay indoors with no exercise.
