After 2 Years
StandardShin has brought home a wild vine when he had a business trip to Nagano. The fresh fruit tastes nice, yet a bit too sour. Mei-Shun therefore made it soaked in white rum. We tried this beautiful violet color at the end of 2013 – it gave a fine scent as well. And to date, it has been separated into bottled liquid and fruit.
Let’s Be Happy
StandardShin came down with a nasty cold this weekend. Since he is working for a food company, year-end is the busiest time; he has to work 7 days a week. Mei-Shun therefore felt happy to see him stay at home, yet unhappy for his condition. So did Mikan-chan.
Very Merry
StandardA little earlier Christmas gift has come to Mei-Shun. 2 weeks before, Shin’s doctor found his blood in terrible conditions. It might be caused by a cancer, he said. Today’s second, closer examination has resulted in “the reason is not clear, yet no cancer”. So, anyway, we’ve got rid of the worst.
Strolling
StandardMei-Shun (and Shin on weekends) started walking toward the nearest shrine. Daily exercise including dance practice is indispensable for her healthy life. It is a nice day, while a dragonfly escorted her through a narrow path between rice paddies. We are satisfied to have such a beautiful environment conserved well.
Horrible Halloween
StandardMikan-chan looked all right in the morning, yet the evil stone hit her while Mei-Shun went out. Such a trick – any treat will be served for her good health. Sleep well, keep warm. Oh, your sweet purring … Good girl.
Oh My Girl
Standard11-year-old Mikan-chan has a “stone” in the bladder. It could force her to go into the restroom over and over, sometimes to bleed a little. Veterinarian Dr. O recommends an operation to remove the stone, yet he adds that there is no guarantee to avoid the disease forever …
Headaches
StandardMei-Shun caught a cold. A slight fever, stomachaches, a sore throat and running nose, sleepiness … might be among the worst happenings in preparation for a stage performance. She only hopes that accumulated training so far works well.
Difficult = Damaging?
StandardMei-Shun has a slight pain in her right knee. While doing lighter exercise yesterday, she found out several poses in Echigo-Shishi which might cause the ache. For example, it is quite difficult for her to put both knees on the ground at once. Trying to force herself to make it, she might use a wrong, unnecessary muscle power.
Happy Monday
StandardSome of our public holidays have been set on Mondays since Heisei era started. Health and Sports Day is one of them, making this weekend a three consecutive holidays. However, Mei-Shun feels a bit uncomfortable in her right knee — caused by the dance rally? She decided to take a rest today, might embody the idea of today.
