Since it always makes her exhausted even with no pain, she had planned to go sweets shopping after all finished. However, she already purchased some yesterday, received others from mom-in-law.
Meow, solar March starts from today. According to mom’s diary, 2023 has lunar February twice. One 朔日 was on 20th of last month, while the other would be on coming 22nd or my day, purr. That might mean we have 2 other chances to celebrate St. Valentine’s Day. However, what we are eager to give dad is not chocolates but places to work safely with no cedar pollen.

Lunar February starts from today. Mei-Shun visited the nearest shrine in mind, while in body her horsey-riding club. One in the morning, the other in the afternoon with cute boys respectively. Their lunch time gave her 30 minutes to look for nice items around the counter. Oh, here are yokan or sweetened red-bean jam sticks accompanied by a tiny omikuji lot.

Total 29 sounds like 肉球=niku-kyu, one of our millions of charming points when 9 added to the tail, quite makes sense by my action. “Yes, you are always perfect”, she says. “We had lunar 2023 start from yesterday when you gave 9th flower in early morning. Dad is also delighted with you, our sweetest hearts”.

Ms. Piano, what new shall you and Mei-Shun do this year? Since it has been raining for recent several days, moonlight scores were picked up a lot. Rain and snow falls are featured by Masters Chopin and Debussy, chosen for fine weather. Her repertoire therefore covers 照る日も降る日も=both clear and wet days. How about adding windy one? Oh, she already learned “Nausicaä“.
Mei-Shun went out on Ms. Scarlet this morning to see Dr. M, her home dentist for the first time this year. Since there would be no pain, she was relaxed when sat on an automatic chair. Her bed of Ame-chan looks all right, yet still has a kind of hole. Oh, beautiful 臥待月, she is ready to go into dry futon having a good bath. See you in 更待月 tomorrow night.
We have 小寒=shokan, the 5th of winter 二十四節気 today. It means the beginning of 寒=the coldest season of the year, while almost no wind, sunny enough for Mei-Shun to walk to a nearby hair salon without gloves before noon. Expecting 小望月=komochi-tsuki or 幾望=kibo at night, she cleaned up rooms in the morning to put on the 1st kimono in 2023.
Meow, lunar December starts from today. Mom brought me to a hair salon nearby Tokyo Station for her last cut and fringe making in 2022. Oh, cold wind let us see Mt. Fuji beyond Ushiku Pond. A cup noodles maker looked fine, so was Skytree tower. We were pleased with this tiny travel followed by shopping at a department store. Hi, tiny friend, great to see you again — yet all right? Mei-Shun has taken it normal that your species would sleep in winter until it gets warmer.
