Shin and Mei-Shun share their 24th wedding anniversary today. Looking forward to adding silver on the top of it next year maybe, the husband gave a cool necklace to the wife as his first gift. And this “rouge pink” bouquet followed around tea time. Oh, she always does not know how to express her gratitude, love and bewildering toward such … generosity? Could you please tell mom the best word, Mikan-chan?
We have the last of Emperor’s Birthday yesterday: our current emperor Akihito is set to abdicate next year. So would December 23rd be Heisei Day, like Showa Day (April 29th) was changed from the previous emperor Hirohito’s birthday? Anyway, that is why we share Christmas Eve and a happy Monday today. Shall we eat out like many young couples do, or stay at home, Shin?

Here is Thai-matsuri, retired racehorsey who has joined our club recently. Mei-Shun fell in love with such a lovely boy in black-brown, decided immediately to help Ms. I to train him as she did for Madoka-chan before. He was born in 2011 from the famous grandfather Brian’s Time while father Time Paradox. She therefore wants to give him a new name Tea Time, after these great fathers.
Our gingko tree finally put off golden coat. Mei-Shun feels that his process to change clothes after summer took shorter than usual this year. Now she finished picking up beautiful leaves to dry.
Mei-Shun visited her mother, at last within 2018. Shin and Mei-Shun saw Turkish items when they dated in Tokyo last week. This blue carpet hit their eyes first, followed by lovely cushions and mats. Bowls and cups were also too fascinating to choose in a minute. They therefore left once, had lunch and came down again. Well, crescent and star pattern looks the best to use as a bed cover. This small mat would be a footrest, tulip bowl for fruits.
Mei-Shun remembers that Ms. S, her last piano instructor owned cats at home. One of them was a black beauty called Tami-chan. She often sat on a piano chair, shared it with the young student. When the latter played well, the former stayed there. However, if awful sounds heard, she immediately escaped from the room. Yes, Mikan-chan, you sometimes do the same as well.

Shin took a half-day off today, met Mei-Shun at Tokyo Station in early afternoon. They went up by an escalator, window-shopping winter items, toward restaurant floor of a department store. Hmm, tempura looks the best for lunch. He ordered 3-course ones including rare 大浅利=oh-asari, a shellfish much bigger than normal size. And 大山=oh-yama sake for his wife who won’t drive after this.
