Mei-Shun quite likes to walk in the rain. Or precisely, she loves umbrellas. Thunderstorm is dangerous, while quiet rainfall nice in two ways; no crowd, a chance to exhibit her collection. Hi, lovely whites, it is great to see you open. Sorry for her excessive care leading to your rare appearance outdoors. Please stay here to dry, chatting with colleagues.

Green Growing
StandardThey were just lately recognized by Mei-Shun. Our backyard ginkgo, cut upper half last year has already reached eastern verandah. A little more length of your leaves on the top branch please, to kindly serve as a curtain to shut eyes of car-shop workers. They would also feel relieved never seeing her hang laundry there including yukata. Let’s expect together fireworks to bloom in the sky soon.
Snail Nail
StandardMom, you are allowed to cut tips of my rear paws. On the other hand, front ones should be kept as they like: never try or hear my hiss. I can help them to peel if necessary, so please stop worrying: they hardly hurt my pads to bleed but grow getting rid of them. Oh, you find a shell on the sofa which I often relax on. It reminds you of a flower stem recently finished blooming, doesn’t it?

Merciful Moon
StandardThank you so much, Professor M. He is one of the best photographers Mei-Shun knows, especially good at that beauty in the sky. We are expecting her in full on Sunday, 22nd when Mikan-chan meows twice. And the same to you, Ms. Last One and Princess Maria. Southern wind blows calmer, let us feel cooler after 16 : 00 outdoors. Oh, look up at another there just started to shine.
Easy & Tasty
StandardHave some of you 422 kind followers heard of 冴緑=sae-midori, clear-green tea? Mei-Shun has never, yet younger sister-in-law gave her samples including this breed introduced as long as 30 years before. She first took them as small-packed leaves, prepared a warmed pot to find tea bags. By the way, she decided to move above green in a vase toward air-conditioned room.
Exciting Excursion
StandardSo Mei-Shun’s hair was finally cut today, postponed twice. Quiet afternoon brought a head covered with a bit slovenly long, black ones into a train, yet one of her favorite seats was occupied by a girl on the right side to Tokyo. It sees Ushiku Pond, a cup noodle-shaped chimney and a wedding site while Skytree on the left. The latter lit a few stars under evening sky when she returned to Ibaraki.
Bucket Backs
StandardThe eldest air conditioner started to weep indoors, shocked Shin and Mei-Shun on weekend. Sultry weather grills outdoor units, let the husband water one put on the eastern verandah. It worked well — how about two on the roof floor, one for above grandpa while another for the bedroom? The wife went up with this green pail bought years before. Oh, his teardrops stopped(^o^)/
Black Ball
StandardThey came from Yamanashi Prefecture via Shin. Called 黒玉=kuro-tama, lightly sweetened green-pea paste balls are coated with brown sugar whose smooth surface might come from algae. Taste good in room temperature, while the best after getting out of refrigerator. More famous 信玄餅=Shingen-mochi is also accompanied by brown-sugar syrup, might be popular among natives.
Gone fm Glass
StandardMei-Shun visited a nearby hair salon. It was rainy from early morning, let her use an umbrella besides a face mask. She put on a indigo dress with yellowish patterns, chose navy blue for the former and beige for the latter. Such color combination is enjoyable for her, while Shin and mom-in-law are never interested in that big flowers often bloom under dark clouds.
Short or Smart
StandardMss. K, S and Mei-Shun dance together 奴さん=Yakko-san, meaning a samurai servant these days. Master Bando chose this 端唄 light score, suggested above trio to perform it on a stage in yukata next summer. Taking it a nice idea, MS asked her to instruct them also in おてもやん=Otemo-yan, a girl with red round cheeks. All three ladies looked a kind of shocked, said they have thought she prefers long, serious 長唄 like 京鹿子娘道成寺.
