Meow, dad and mom are still in obon summer vacation from 13th to 16th, yet spend it as a normal weekend followed by weekdays. He went out this morning for business, while she washes, cleans and studies as usual. Only an irregular event was on Saturday to visit their favorite pâtisserie with me by Ms. Scarlet. It is quite regular for the shop to be closed today.

Shin used to go on business trips abroad at least once a month before that novel coronavirus began roaring among us. When Mei-Shun found on a souvenir brochure lip-balm sticks full of kitty patterns and asked him to purchase some, he immediately handed her a tiny box. However, the wife could not use them so far — not only on package design but by a stick itself appears a lovely face.
Oh, severe sunlight has returned toward Kanto area. Morning humidity augments our difficulty to endure such a heat wave. Mei-Shun feels relieved that her two mothers stay in cooler environment respectively; one is in higher place surrounded by a lot of oxygen emitters, while the other on lower floor of the same house taking care of a garden. Tora-chan seems to share comfortable life with the latter.
Mei-Shun noticed エノコログサ, setaria viridis grown beside lady’s tresses whose sofa is put on the eastern verandah floor. When she closed a shutter of Shin’s study, one of ears tried to enter. She once refused, yet gave up soon and let it in. Only a night made it turn from bright green to pale. The husband said that it is because Mikan-chan played with it by punch, bite, etc.
Meow, mom purchased a few bags of candy yesterday, including above colorful balls made in our ancient capital. Since she keeps nice numbers on a scale, never cares if an English textbook calls her “d.e.b.” meaning plumpy. And I’m a good girl enough, never tries to punch them on the floor. By the way, it is really cool today compared to recent several days. A treat for us, isn’t it? Purr … purrr …

Hi Tora-chan, thanks to welcome Mei-Shun back home. Listen, she meant to enjoy dancing with a horsey today when a shower stopped before noon. However, it started again while she was heading toward the club on Ms. Scarlet accompanied by little Mikan-chan. What happened on a scale after Monday is therefore unknown. Ms. Full Moon would not be seen at night either.
Meow, Ms. Black Tea in our garden gave a tiny flower. She might keep good patience during a sultry week after the shortest rainy season — on behalf of it, Typhoon Aere still stays in the east of Kanto area. It is also rare to have it go through this archipelago in July. Mom seems to think that I’m in charge of weather, yet she is a bit wrong. My hope is dad’s and her health, that’s all. Purr … purrr …

Happy birthday again, Shin, for lunar June 6th today. Mikan-chan seems to share a role of weather control, offer her congratulations to daddy with 返り梅雨. He and Mei-Shun received it yesterday afternoon, a blow from the west followed by raindrops never seen for at least a whole week. A thermometer above Ms. Piano indicates below 30 degrees Celsius since then.
