Mei-Shun moves from winter clothes to summer ones little by little these days: she brings coats, gloves and knits to a nearby laundry recently restarted their business. Regarding kimono, many of her yukata seem worn out as a whole. Being frayed under sleeves may be because they are often pulled here in kabuki dance. Since all thumbs in sewing, she would ask aid from mom-in-law.
Mei-Shun practices 松の緑 by herself at home these days. As she might mentioned before, this is the only score for those who would like 名取 status in Bando Ryu. On the other hand, beloved Master Mei-Shu said it was one of 2 scores for Kikunoe Ryu students who aim to do the same. Another was 梅の栄, which her last 名取 performed on the stage for the 1st time.
Meow, mom practices 松の緑 at home these days. I feel happier when she stays with me longer, while a bit tired if she gives too much attention. It is to take the best care of yourself that is the most important: your mental/physical health is the same to mine. So please do not hesitate to dance, play Ms. Piano, take a nap in your bedroom or sometimes go out.

Mei-Shun visited her home dentist to see Dr. M for a monthly check today. For this patient, medical clinics are often followed by good bakery shops — she treats herself to sandwiches, baguettes and sweets even after coming back from above. By the way, “Double Ds” would take a leave from now on: she would stop going to Master Bando’s place for a while.
Mei-Shun walked 5 minutes to a hair salon this morning. While waiting for dyeing medicine to work well absorbed, she found a magazine featuring actress mother and daughter in nice kimono. The former is Ms. F whom beloved Master Mei-Shu admired while the latter Ms. T, elder sister of kabuki actor 尾上菊之助. He or Master Sen-Sha said that it was really sad to lose his party several years before.
Meow, 3rd of 2022 day of mine has come. I heard from mom that it is the first time after decades for her to see such weather in March. Freezing from early this morning, while seemed normal. However, temperature stayed below 5 degrees Celsius, even lower around noon when I found white petals coming down from gray sky. “Oh, Master Bando safely received her birthday flowers I sent”, she said.

This combination resumes from today. Mei-Shun got in Ms. Scarlet for Master Bando’s place, in normal clothes. Since a time was available, she steered to the left into an automatic car washer. Wow, what REX means here? 2 dinosaurs drawn on the machine approached, passed by and went away from her with water, shampoo and wind. Thanks a lot, tidy beasts.
Lesson by Master Bando resumed from today. Oh, she kept new 舞扇=fan used in kabuki dance for Mei-Shun and Ms. S; the former ordered one with abstract design of 寅=tora, the 3rd of 12 Chinese zodiac symbols drawn on, while the latter concrete profile of a handsome tiger. Both are beautiful enough to let them practice 松の寿 and 寿 more respectively.
Lesson by Master Bando would resume from next Tuesday. It therefore failed today to form double Ds, Mei-Shun just saw Dr. M for regular teeth check. The former got dental floss fragment or some food into space between molars on lower left jaw last month, made an immediate phone call asking for help from the latter. That finally proved needless: it was nicely removed by herself on New Year’s Day.
So this is the end of 2021, the last weekday and report on cat, dance, piano, etc. from Mei-Shun. They taught her a lot through an year as usual:
Cats work every day with their loveliness. They might do their jobs the most at home.
Kabuki dance requires good body trunk first. Muscle follows next.
Piano does concentration. Practice before singing by fingers.
