Hello, friends. We are so happy to see you again. This is their fixed dwelling place, at the entrance of a supermarket. A wise couple knows that it is easy to feed their children here, lit up even after sunset. Mei-Shun cannot stop visiting them every day until they’re grown up enough to leave the nest.

Welcome Home
StandardA gecko, or yamori in Japanese meaning “a home protector”, visited us last night. When we see them at home, it has used to bring something happy. Hi friend, nice to meet you again. Please be careful not to be hurt at doors and windows – oh, you are too quick to take a good photo.
Welcome Back
StandardTreasure of Life
StandardProfessor S, Master Mei-Shu and mom-in-law of Mei-Shun are of an age by chance. They are always kind enough, giving visits, messages and gifts during her hospitalization. It is a genuine honor to have such great “friends”.
Dentist!
StandardOne of Mei-Shun’s front teeth looks browned. She felt worried about it, wondered if it might be decayed. After a glance, her home dentist said that it was just stained – 5-minute polishing solved the problem. Thanks a million, Dr. M.
Uji-Kami Shrine
StandardIt is a custom for many Japanese to visit the nearest temple or shrine, called Uji-Kami sama. Walking route for Mei-Shun and Shin includes one. On Sunday, they found that the blessing entity has an amazingly beautiful garden of cherry trees. We are very happy if you could share the joy of this carpet.
Ms. Piano Returned
StandardIt’s found to be Gymnopédie by Erik Satie! For an easy sleep at the hospital, Mei-Shun picked up many pieces of heeling music. And this melody came up following others. She immediately asked Shin to order the music score. Simple enough to play, but comfortable to your ears.

StandardMost Japanese temples and shrines have omikuji, fortune-telling paper. For easy ones, we put coins into a box before picking up one piece. More formally, we make payment to a clerk, shake a box or can to receive a stick on which a number is written. Informed on the number, they hand us a corresponding piece of omikuji paper. Some of them have a small figure of god which is believed to bring luck to you.
Spring has come
StandardOn such a warm, bright day! Mei-Shun decided to renew the paper on shoji slide door. We have three big ones and two small ones in Japanese-style bedroom. Nicely white shoji let us feel refreshed.
