Amazing Appetite?

Standard

Oh, no, Mei-Shun would not eat them up by herself, of course not. Now fed her eyes enough, bring them downstairs for mom-in-law to choose some. Dear sweets, thanks for being pretty, tasty and lower caloric. And Ms. Piano, please let her practice on you that beautiful score composed by Master Bach. She would like to welcome Shin by playing it well on Sunday, when he returns from Okinawa.

Mei-Shun started to practice above score on Ms. Piano. It is composed by Mr. Hisaishi, Joe following “Nausicaä of Windy Valley” and “Life is Merry-go-round”. These are all used in animated films from Studio Ghibli, one of the most famous such companies as you kind followers might know. Oh, Mikan-chan seems to recommend “Totoro” as well, leaving a hair accessory on mom’s towel blanket.

Abandoned Again

Mei-Shun found, the Spanish test, Evaluación del Conocimiento de la Lengua Española expected to be held in October. The one in June was also canceled because of the novel coronavirus, let this student (a bit lazy) have extra time to prepare. Well, does it mean she can spend more time with Ms. Piano? Of course not. The radio program would go ahead, so would her own study on a textbook.

Challengers

Standard

Mei-Shun tried “Allegro among Impromptus, Opus 90” by Master Schubert after more than a whole month. Even if a poor performance, her fingers never hurt, that is fine.  Haste makes waste. By the way, her eldest nephew sang “Erlkönig” by above great composer last week, to piano accompaniment by his mother. His grandma came out of that cool place to listen, and would flee back soon.

Step by Step

Standard

Lunar July starts from today. Since we have a new moon at night, Mei-Shun would be happy to play scores praising moonlight on Ms. Piano, composed by Masters Beethoven and Debussy. They say summer still stays on one hand, while she recognized several points of autumn on the other. More and more sunlight comes into rooms in the morning, sunset has got earlier day by day.

Working Well

Standard

Ms. Piano is not only beautiful herself but also keeps lovely items. Mei-Shun saw a pretty pottery ring holder trimmed with a lot of little heart-shape holes yesterday, at her horsey riding club. Since it still stayed in the showroom today, she decided to bring it home. By the way, it is too hard to come here for two consecutive days, even if her partners are Mr. Tea Time and Princes Maria.

Full Moon

Standard

Yes, we expect her tonight, thanks to the end of rainy season. Mei-Shun heard that it was for the first time in recent 13 years for those humid months to reach amazing this month. So the real summer has come. Normal temperature over 30 degrees Celsius hits almost every day. Oh, dear green necklace, sunlight of the late afternoon is too bright for you. Please come in, let’s look up the sky with mom.

Happy Return

Standard

Hello again, Master Debussy. Mei-Shun came back to Ms. Piano, tried your “Clair du Lune” after a whole week. Actually, she has so far taken her hands as all thumbs, envied longer and thinner fingers. However, recent experience of slight pain let her change such understanding. They are a pair of the closest friends, work hard every day to do housekeeping, to hold 舞扇 fan for kabuki dance, to rein horseies.

13 mesdemoiselles,

… bloomed like a bouquet.

Missing Much

Standard

Mei-Shun has felt somehow at odd in hands and fingers since she started practicing Allegro among Impromptus, Opus 90 composed by Master Schubert. It seems she is lucky enough to be able to let Ms. Piano rest for a while, to concentrate upon kabuki dance instead. Oh, she has to contact Mr. O, late Master Mei-Shu’s husband if she left a 手拭=te-nugui, cotton towel necessary for performance in autumn.

Welcome back, St. Gecko.

Maestro Chopin

Standard

He gives Mei-Shun two lyrical scores; Prélude Op. 28-15 “Raindrop”, Nocturne “Posthumous”. The former is seldom played on Ms. Piano these days when windows are often seen covered with tears, while the latter has become more fluent. It is partly thanks to the Spanish radio program which seems to have returned to the starting point recently, made easier to learn.
