We had 大暑=taisho, the 6th and last summer 二十四節気 yesterday. Mei-Shun was forced to cancel dancing with Mr. White Mocha — weather forecasts warned mercury exceed 35 degrees Celsius. She therefore enjoyed singing with Ms. Piano at home instead, trying to memorize whole score of “Clair de Lune”. Yes, the 1st page is actually left for her last challenge.
Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun danced with Mr. White Mocha on Monday from 15 : 30, when scorching sunlight still lid the field. Such exhausting exercise never seems fit, while let them see a beautiful 3rd crescent from Ms. Scarlet. It was the only chance this week: we are in the middle of rainy season. Yes, solar July just started from Monday. Mei-Shun takes it nice, while lunar June from Saturday with 小暑=shousho, the 5th of summer 二十四節気. In the middle of rainy season, she often plays moonlight scores on Ms. Piano: Masters Debussy and Beethoven seem to give different impressions on that celestial entity. The former expresses her beauty by major melody, the latter by minor chords.
Mei-Shun played Ms. Piano twice a day; once before going out for horsey riding accompanied by Mikan-chan, again after coming home. Why her fingers often beat wrong keys this morning? They might be confused a bit, since today is the first time to go to the club this week. Yesterday had only one lesson: she would like 30-minute drive on Ms. Scarlet deserve at least 2.
So we are at the end of solar May. Heavy rainfall from early morning made Mei-Shun sing on Ms. Piano moonlight scores composed by Masters Debussy and Beethoven. She and Mikan-chan have an appointment with Mr. Crunchy in the evening, wishing the last dance on him … yes, they did well in a field like rice paddy! And she saw acceptable numbers on a scale after coming home.
We would see a full moon tonight, yet many clouds might prevent us from that beauty in dark sky. Mei-Shun therefore tried to catch 小望月 last night, with such a poor result. And oh, she did similar on Ms. Piano by “Clair de Lune” sung expecting clearer weather. Well anyway, it is already time for her and Mikan-chan to get on Ms. Scarlet toward a horsey riding club.
Today’s partner of Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun was Mademoiselle Angel. She reminds the latter of “L’harmonie des anges” composed by Master Burgmüller. The other day its melody suddenly stopped flowing on Ms. Piano. Such accidents in simple scores often occur, let a poor player repeat practice.
