Shin, Mei-Shun and Mikan-chan got up at 4 : 00 this morning. Night stars were brilliant in dark sky, waiting for sunrise a few minutes before 6 : 00 to fade out. The husband had to arrive at Haneda Airport to board the 1st plane for Hiroshima. On the other hand, the wife and her fluffy daughter at usual horsey riding club in the afternoon. It is quite hotter than yesterday, isn’t it?
Meow, mom’s mom stays in 草津 right now. It might be her last visit in 2023. She took photos of pretty gentian or autumn bellflower, blooming in her garden there. I would say thanks a million to you, grandma, in behalf of your younger daughter. This shade was loved by grandpa as well, while his earlier favorite balloonflower. By the way, the best ribbon for me to put on is purple.

And 霜降=soko, the 6th of autumnal 二十四節気 we have today. Mei-Shun enjoyed driving toward another horsey riding club in Ibaraki Prefecture yesterday — trees lining streets in Tsukuba started to change green clothes. Hello Mr. 翼=wings, great to see you for her first lesson here to dance. This chestnut Pegasus also taught her enormous assistance by Mr. Sirius.
We have 重陽の節句, lunar September 9th today. It is the last of 五節句=5 days of odd numbers on this calendar following; January 7th=七草, March 3rd=桃, May 5th=端午 and July 7th=七夕. January 1st was too special to be included. It anyway reminds Mei-Shun of beloved Master Mei-Shu, who kindly gave her last 名取 many kimonos, obi sashes and coats.
… mean that couple gave birth to Mikan-chan 20 years before. Shin and Mei-Shun, human pair who adopted her, are happy to reach 30th among their anniversaries today. Above bouquet seemed the same as last year, yet the wife recognized something different. When she compared it with photos, it became clear: percentage of green and white in tiny chrysanthemums.
Mei-Shun got on Ms. Scarlet accompanied by Mikan-chan at 10 : 15. “It is rare to see you in the morning”, a receptionist of the club said. Well, half an year might have passed since she finally followed such a schedule. Spring brings ultraviolet rays so strong in daytime that she was forced to flee from outdoor sports. And summer removes sunscreen cream even after 16 : 00.
The 3rd crescent Mei-Shun met last evening was perfect. If truth be told, she would prefer it to a full moon. The latter has monthly names with phenomena including eclipse, while the former only numbers — oh, as for digits, please let her cordially welcome new 3 guests at this site. It is also highly appreciated by Mikan-chan, who promises further efforts to serve you.
Mei-Shun went to a hair salon nearby Tokyo Station yesterday. Blue sky nicely accommodated her friend views through train windows; Ushiku Pond, a cup noodle maker’s factory and Skytree. Mikan-chan, thanks a trillion for accompanying mom. You see, she plans to visit another shop tomorrow. Both of her home beauticians give hair care in a week, thanks to dad.
Meow, I and mom visited “Arles” yesterday, brought home sweets including a lovely ghost above. They all are somehow in shade of my name, purr. By the way, she told me 八百万の神＝8-million Gods in our country gather at 出雲 this month. That is why October is called 神無月= month with no Gods around most of us. We might have to be watchful toward opposite spirits.

Real autumn finally began. Mei-Shun puts on a cotton yukata, summer kimono after shampoo these days. It is the way people did in Edo Period (1603-1867) when they normally go to public baths. Hmm, silk ones might have to wait 2 weeks ahead; we still see 25 degrees Celsius in daytime. Was October so warm 7 years before for us, in intensive practice of 汐汲, Master Mei-Shu?
