Now 偕楽園 story all appears here together. They held a festival featuring bushclovers last month, still kept lanterns and red-cloth-covered benches. Thanks to it finished, Shin and Mei-Shun were alone able to enjoy wide view of that queen. Fragrant olives already bloomed as well, give sweet scent all around the garden. Maples would make them wait for a while to flush beautifully.

Joy of Kai
StandardShin and Mei-Shun visited a beautiful park in 水戸 on weekend. A big tree of 十月桜, October cherry gently greeted the couple beside a small gate. A clerk asked the husband if they live in Ibaraki Prefecture. When he gave a yes showing his driver’s license, their tickets became complimentary with a piece of paper follows below. That novel coronavirus seems to creep into such wide space.

Amazing Appetite?
StandardOh, no, Mei-Shun would not eat them up by herself, of course not. Now fed her eyes enough, bring them downstairs for mom-in-law to choose some. Dear sweets, thanks for being pretty, tasty and lower caloric. And Ms. Piano, please let her practice on you that beautiful score composed by Master Bach. She would like to welcome Shin by playing it well on Sunday, when he returns from Okinawa.
Glistening Guest
StandardHi, cute bug. It was you who made rustles in the living room. Mei-Shun sat on the sofa reading newspapers, with Mikan-chan sleeping on her legs. Rainfall caused by Typhoon XII or Dolphin prevented her from going out to dance with horseies, only by herself indoors. You might cling to the laundry, reached this dried bouquet looking for food. Come, Princess Cymby in the verandah would be better to relax on.
Fortunate Fountain
StandardShin and Mei-Shun visited 乙戸沼 Park yesterday morning, after longer than 3 months. This summer was really, really hot, while rainy season extensive. Both of them prevented above couple from walking around the pond, let alone going outdoors in daytime. Such an interval saw several changes — one of them was a pair of bridge rails. Right one was renewed, yet kept old on the left.
Sharpen U Up
StandardMei-Shun loves pencils. They serve her a lot for whom writing by hand is the best way to learn foreign languages. When she makes formal documents, rough drafts would be written on papers before typed. Most public examinations she has taken require them. On the other hand, various design gives her pleasant chances to choose while such simple structure a time to think about nothing.
Bright Blossom
StandardWe have 白露=hakuro, the 3rd of autumnal 二十四節気 today. It means dewdrops on grass leaves, as a bushclover in our garden has this morning. Mei-Shun loves such a halcyon sight, yet hot southern air soon came into Kanto Area after powerful Typhoon X or Haishen roared north off western coast of Kyushu. Perhaps it is too busy to care about social distancing.
CU Again
StandardThe pupa on a grapefruit pot Mei-Shun grows had emerged a few days before to fly away. Summer is really full of new lives — cicadas sing from early in the morning, born one after another. Most of them around here have simple buzzing voice, while some say mean-mean, what-shah-shah and tuk-tuk-ossy. Her favorite is the last one with green body and crystal-clear wings.
Green Glisten
StandardMei-Shun found a little pupa on one of grapefruit pots. There was a bigger butterfly baby on another until recently, yet it had eaten up all leaves and — gone. Clever boy/girl, please feel safe. She would take good care of your tentative bed beside Mademoiselle Vert. The latter grows again a lovely little leaf bud with 13 flowers kept pretty. And weird parts as well, looking like artifacts.
Tea & Temperature
StandardKeeping above the same is crucial for Mei-Shun’s good condition: hot tea in hot season. Cold one in chilling days would be awful, while nice if she relaxes in a warm, dry environment. Her stomach anyway seems to need such a care before receiving cold drinks, frozen fruits and ice cream. However, she forgets this rule every summer, fails at once to learn again.
