It never seems good for health, the more you lose and gain sugar bags all over the body as insuline spike does in blood. Her goal is to reach BMI 22 first of all, and keep it as long as possible — for her whole life, hopefully.

StandardMei-Shun reserved a beauty salon in Shinagawa again, not to avoid a phone call from Dr. A. Shin’s schedule allowed them to meet there only today.
A 加賀(=Kaga, current Ishikawa Prefecture) cuisine restaurant always guides them into a room called 寿椿, meaning celebrated camellia. A wooden “pheasant” welcomes them as usual, yet his blue feather is all different from normal ones. You are a peacock, aren’t you?

Fools’ Day?
StandardAnyway, Mikan-chan shows that our fiscal year has started. And Mei-Shun’s resolution to lose several sacks of sugar put all over her body is so firm. It would take a whole year; half a year to reach the goal, another half to keep it. She has succeeded in the former many times while always failed the latter. She hopes that current walking (planned to lead to running), her first experience to employ, would work.
Fragrant Daphne
StandardShe reminds Mei-Shun of her hospitalization last year — mom-in-law brought a little bouquet. When you cut garden flowers, they lose much energy and wilt immediately. We therefore make it a rule to keep them on the ground. Even so, sometimes a breach is imperative to help isolated family member enjoy one of her favorite.
Never Forgotten
StandardIt was also cold five years ago. Today never stop reminding us of that disaster. We all stand shivering under dark clouds after the severest first shake, followed by strong aftershocks over and over. And she evacuated behind the TV in our living room, the safest place at home. Well done, clever girl.
Good Guys
StandardMs. I, Mei-Shun’s favorite instructor in horseback riding, gave a phone call. Yes, she misses you and lovely horses so much so far — the red eye has prevented her from attending the classes. Now that it’s 95% healed, she hopes to see them on coming Friday.
Hope It Works
StandardMei-Shun’s left eye has 90% healed. A red spot is still above the iris, yet seems to have no problem with glasses. She looks forward to taking lessons of Japanese dance and horseback riding next week. During a whole week of stay-at-home, she made a slight effort to lose a piece of tyre around the waist.

StandardThe answer was “Yes”. Thank you so much, Dr. A. She gave Mei-Shun a phone call around 14 : 00, maybe immediately after she met all outpatients. Such attitude is to be really admired — patients always feel like walking on a narrow bridge. Actually, that is not only for patients: normal, healthy people are on the same place as well. The latter just do not recognize it.

StandardNo problem as usual, thank you so much. Dr. A offered Mei-Shun to see her every other month if today’s sample gives a good result. That sounds great — now she expects the next reservation to be fixed on April 8th, Birthday of the Buddha. Yes, or No? The answer would be brought by a phone call after 2 weeks.
Spring Soon
StandardThis winter is called a warm one, had a summer day in December, mild new-year days while the recent week to see heavy snow. It suddenly gets hot and cold: such an extreme choice the weather makes. It is never easy for us to get rid of catching cold. Why don’t we wish 立春, risshun =the first day of spring set on 4th next month, to really mean?
