Mei-Shun walked to a hair salon in high-heeled pumps instead of summer sandals. She recognized both insoles of the latter are torn when put them on. It might be a message from autumn already reached us, even in such sweltering air. Since her mother comes back from 草津 today, she is a bit worried about condition of an octogenarian. Yet oh, a weather forecast says that it would be cooler from Mikan-chan’s birthday.

Well, Mei-Shun meant to visit a hair salon nearby Tokyo Station for a perm today. She has canceled/postponed appointments over and over, mainly caused by such a torrid summer. It would get harder, yet joy of each 4 seasons seems to always exist. By the way, a train accident prevented her again from doing above. She wishes to make it next week, after passing 処暑=sho-sho, the 2nd of autumnal 二十四節気 yesterday.

Sumo wrestling held in 名古屋 is heading toward 千穐楽, the last day on weekend. Mei-Shun’s favorite rikishi seriously injured in his 4th bout, has to stop attending competitions for a while; they say half an year might be required. It was his close buddy who caused this long leave. Well, such a job those big guys share. She made the latter her 3rd pet to cheer up.

Today is the deadline to order 水無月=minazuki from たねや this year. Well, Shin and Mei-Shun have consumed just 1 of 3 boxes he purchased at 能登里山 Airport last week. They visited that city twice, love halcyon atmosphere there and beautiful sight fairly balanced between the sea and rice paddy. With their petite contribution, rapid recovery is cordially wished.

Yes, 2024 has Constitution Memorial Day on Friday. Traffic jam forced Shin to sit in our new car Ms. Moon for a few hours longer than usual. Followed by weekend Days of Greenery and Children, 6th would be a “Happy Monday” to replace 5th. Since April 29th Showa Day was also at the beginning of last week, many salaried workers had 3 serial days off. Mikan-chan and Mei-Shun wish their happy Golden Week.

Dr. A kindly gave Mei-Shun “Yes” phone call this morning. It would be informed only to Shin who stays in Vietnam from last night. It seemed warm there when he left home, 20 degrees Celsius shown on his PC. However, a digital signage at Narita Airport said 13 was added: summer covers spring. On the other hand, winter came back here to overcome the latter comfortable season.

Mei-Shun visited a hospital she had an operation to see Dr. A. The former counts it from the day she returned home, while the latter lady after she finished it. That is why title numbers delay a bit compared with hers who said they entered the 10th year. “CT scan could be stopped here, since 8th is the longest for one of my patients to get it again.” Well, for safety of mother’s mind.

Yes, this is Culture Day. Along with Labor Thanksgiving Day on 23rd, our national holidays in November never move into Mondays like September: the latter makes “Silver Week” using Respect for the Aged Day and Autumnal Equinox Day. The former often gave Mei-Shun chances to perform on a stage as well. Master Mei-Shu, would she be able to do it again?

Dual Doctors

Standard

Mei-Shun saw Dr. N again, with an appointment made last week. She also would like to visit a clinic managed by one of her home dermatologists Dr. I — they are neighbors taking merely 5 minutes on Ms. Scarlet from one to the other. She therefore reserved the latter online just before leaving home. Now she arrived, has her number already been called? It has, please accept her apology for her absence.

In and Out

Mei-Shun got on Ms. Scarlet to see Dr. N, an ophthalmologist and a friend of Dr. A. The latter lady introduced the former to one of her ex-inpatients — their sons were by chance in the same class of an elementary school. By the way, another coincidence is that her home gynecologist Dr. M once worked at the same hospital with Dr. A. Something divine might lead an outpatient toward a petite circle of gentle female doctors.
