Professor S, Master Mei-Shu and mom-in-law of Mei-Shun are of an age by chance. They are always kind enough, giving visits, messages and gifts during her hospitalization. It is a genuine honor to have such great “friends”.

It is a custom for many Japanese to visit the nearest temple or shrine, called Uji-Kami sama. Walking route for Mei-Shun and Shin includes one. On Sunday, they found that the blessing entity has an amazingly beautiful garden of cherry trees. We are very happy if you could share the joy of this carpet.
It’s found to be Gymnopédie by Erik Satie! For an easy sleep at the hospital, Mei-Shun picked up many pieces of heeling music. And this melody came up following others. She immediately asked Shin to order the music score. Simple enough to play, but comfortable to your ears.
Our cymbidium “Yellow Card” has come to 80% bloom during Mei-Shun’s full hospitalization. Now with her 80% release, it has bloomed 100%. Yes, they knew how to do the best.
Most Japanese temples and shrines have omikuji, fortune-telling paper. For easy ones, we put coins into a box before picking up one piece. More formally, we make payment to a clerk, shake a box or can to receive a stick on which a number is written. Informed on the number, they hand us a corresponding piece of omikuji paper. Some of them have a small figure of god which is believed to bring luck to you.
On such a warm, bright day! Mei-Shun decided to renew the paper on shoji slide door. We have three big ones and two small ones in Japanese-style bedroom. Nicely white shoji let us feel refreshed.
