It has become a bit difficult for Mei-Shun to see a moon at home through the widest window facing the south. Instead, a glass door toward the east let her find its silhouette when she prepares to take a bath around 21 : 00. And it was early in this morning that Shin and his wife were welcomed by a clear 居待月, a moon to wait sitting above the nearest station.
We have today a full moon or 十五夜, the one at 15th night on lunar November 15th, while 七五三=7-, 5- and 3-year-old celebration. Mei-Shun takes such a coincidence somehow mysterious — only odd numbers gather on a solar date of an even number. By the way, Shin kindly handed her a box of くろ玉=sweet black balls yesterday. And oh, where have 2 of them already gone?
So lunar November starts from today, meaning a new moon at night. Mei-Shun was too busy in the morning to visit and make a wish at the nearest shrine, rushed out for horsey riding in the afternoon. Caused by a heavy rainfall yesterday, club field was so muddy that she made a poor performance on Ms. Melody. Good news came after coming back home — she saw nice numbers on a scale again.
Mom told me that we would see a full moon tonight. “Yet in all different facade from normal”, she continued. “It gets slimmer little by little before staying behind the shadow of Mother Earth for an hour and a half”. And Uranus also hides at the rear of above dark moon, gives amazing phenomena after 442 years. By the way, I prefer brighter one looks like a spoonful of my milk, purr.

Meow, is it last night in a slight rainfall? She looks clear tonight. When a phone call awoke mom, we were in the bedroom taking a nap. It was from Mr. O who has taken care of Ms. Piano so far. What a timing! With no contact from him, she reserved a woman from another company just yesterday. I prefer human beings of the same gender as mine, purr.

Lunar October starts from today. Mei-Shun walked to the nearest shrine in the morning, made a wish to Gods before drawing omikuji lots. Hmm, she would keep one 吉=kichi for Shin yet bind the other 末吉=sue-kichi onto a twig. Now Ms. Piano, with a new moon at night, shall we sing scores to call her in the 2nd crescent tomorrow? Such a fiery sunset would promise it.

Well, it might take a bit more time since that “novel” coronavirus is currently swirling among us in recent variant. Such an experience is not agreeable, yet gave her a chance to recognize how excellent beloved Master Mei-Shu was.
Mei-Shun is a green tea lover: she enjoys it almost every day, all through the year. Now are cans of her favorite leaves going empty while tablets, balls and bags of Chinese tea arrived. She would soon be followed by her eldest brother among planets of the sun including our mother earth. There, he always hides behind tree tops in the east, suddenly jumps up onto a bluish black carpet over our heads.
Mei-Shun made a new rule: walking on days when she does not go for horsey riding. During recent severe summer, she perspires with no exercise. Or such activity is advised to refrain from, never serves for muscle building. Thanks to cool evening, she enjoyed looking around 乙戸沼 Pond on foot today after 4 months.
