Not Yet Smart

Standard

Mei-Shun’s “Gara-K”, meaning in current Japanese a cellphone stopped evolving in Galapagos, has once frozen lately. Shin worried about losing communication with her, so she decided to change it into a smart phone. It is twice as big as her previous device, and oh, almost empty in application — needs a lot of care to make it really smart.

Numbered Respectively

Standard

A notice of our tax numbers has finally reached us. Starting delivery last month, many troubles have been heard regarding this system. We therefore had no expectation to receive it within this year — well done, postmen. A photo is necessary to apply for a card? All right, good timing. Mei-Shun has to renew her passport soon.

Twins Follow

Standard

Yes, here is another shy girl. She surprised Mei-Shun who was taking photo of yellow leaves in this cymbidium pot. They give a unique contrast with flower bud sisters, don’t they? Named “Yellow Card”, sounds a bit dangerous, yet means one of her owner’s favorite colors to put on.

Can you see me?

Hello Again

Standard

What a happy surprise! Mei-Shun found our cymbidium has a flower bud this morning. And here might grow another, in similar place for the one bloomed in March. However, some instruction say that their flowering time starts in December. Oh, does our baby come out too soon? She has refused to move into a bigger pot, never let us cut her confused roots. Please do not hurry to live, honey.

Sincerely Expected

Standard

Mei-Shun’s mother has failed to see her daughter on stage for 3 times. For the first 梅の栄 (=Ume-no-Sakae, plum blossom celebration), she was too busy involved in community jobs. The second 島の千歳 (=Shima-no-Senzai, Ms. Entertainer) appeared during her trip to mountains. And she had a fever just one day before 越後獅子 dance last year. We wish nothing prevent her from seeing Master Mei-Shu, this time for sure.

Return Gift

Standard

Mei-Shun arranged makimono (=roll-wrapped item) for coming performance. Dancers are supposed to prepare it showing their thankfulness toward guest audiences. It must be light enough to carry, in proper size and full of wit. On the other hand, lunch boxes, tea, fruits, etc. would be served at waiting rooms for respective ryu-ha (=dance school). Invitation cards should be written before posted. So many things to do give a kind of excitement.
