Mei-Shun and Mikan-chan enjoyed trotting with Mr. Crunchy followed by Mr. Mickey Love Song to dance a bit. Oh, this 恋歌 by that famous mouse is a scion of King Kamehameha. Himself was also a celebrated race horse, currently working for a club to lead a life all different from before. Now they would return home where a scale is ready. Feast of new year turned out to have left.
… from 1 to 9 would make Mei-Shun feel lucky and happy, while opposite sometimes. Her favorites are even numbers represented by 2 and 8. 6 is as well, included in Shin’s birthday. By the way, Ms. Scarlet gave above driving range in early morning when she stopped at a red light. 7 is often called fortunate. However, the last among 4 of them immediately turned into 8 at home.
So 2024 sees the 2nd Monday on our national holiday: 成人の日=Coming of Age Day following January 1st 元旦=New Year’s Day. Mei-Shun replenished 2 茶筒=green tea cans, walked to a nearby hair salon in a down jacket of Shin who went into futon again after breakfast. He is a bit too big to step over and reach her wardrobe. When they went out for shopping together later, she put on a coat in color of orange or Mikan-chan.
… to you, mom-in-law. Mei-Shun enjoyed horsey riding, brought home a whole cake coated by whipped cream. Quite small size was chosen this year, hoping the former lady could eat up by herself: she always gives two third of bigger one. On the contrary, お節料理=o-sechi dish or new-year feast packed in layered boxes seems to stay around waist of the latter as half of a sugar bag.
Please kindly accept apology from Mei-Shun for her absence from this site during serial 2 days. She felt too sad to celebrate beginning of new year 2024: grave earthquake and accident occurred. What she could do right now is to pray for victims, understanding that it might be herself who was involved in. She believes survivors would be courageous enough to go forward again.

Meow, this is the end of 2023 weekdays. Thanks to you kind 512 followers, I and mom really enjoyed reporting on my breed, music represented by Ms. Piano and dance for a whole year. Oh, speaking of the last term, she would attend an intensive course from next month. Kabuki dance is always in her mind, while similar motion of lower body on a horsey would be good contribution to it.

… Mei-Shun means one of three lip-balm sticks from Shin, shaped like a face of Mikan-chan. As mentioned before, she has a particular manner to kiss them. Starting from both ears, her lips must touch it as softly as possible until nothing is seen on the surface. 1st stayed beside her pillow, 2nd in a makeup bag. 3rd and youngest is waiting 2024 to replace the eldest.
The last 2023 full moon is expected tonight. “Clair de Lune” always reminds Mei-Shun of this celestial beauty: which shape she gives, how sky condition would be. After dancing a few steps with Mr. Casarte, Mikan-chan and her mom got on Ms. Scarlet. Then she comes, truly out of the blue. Concentration is important on a horsey back, while composure to look up seems better.
Mei-Shun wrote up and brought all 年賀状=nenga-jo, New Year’s greeting cards to a post office yesterday as well, before cooking. Her signature stamp rarely appears from a drawer; used only for Mr. O, husband of beloved Master Mei-Shu and Professor M, the last student of that charming lady.
